Good Day Everyone!!! Thanks to those that have stopped bye. I have the Just Magnolia challenge for you today. I didn’t make a card this time, I went with the altered post it note hanger. A very dear friend sent me this vintage hanger a long time ago and I had never used it but decided to get it out and use it.

I made the square out of chipboard and adhered patterned paper to it, then followed Dawny’s sketch over at the challenge blog.

Thanks for stopping bye today, I have a card to show you I made for a challenge. I have used this adorable Mister Elf from Sugar Nellie. I just love these Manga images.  I am still waiting on my DT kit from Sugar Nellie it should be here anytime so can’t wait to show you what it is filled with.

This card is for Sketch and Stash Challenge Blog, where there is a lovely sketch there and I so enjoyed doing it and will sure to use this one again.

I used my bow easy on the bow but I don’t think it  likes grosgrain ribbon very well.

Hello Everyone!! I trust everyone has had a wonderful weekend? I didn’t have to work so it was a good one for me. Sure made for a long week this week though having to work last weekend. But it’s over and I am rested finally.

 

I made a card for the challenge over at Create4Fun , They had a lovely sketch to follow and I used one of the newer Sugar Nellie images. Isn’t this Manga adorable??  Sugar Nellie also has there new Country Cousins out for sale and I know those won’t last long. Everyone loves them. My stamps haven’t arrived yet so as soon as I get them I will be so excited and share with you what I have created. The new Simply Sassy is soon to be coming and I know you are going to love those. Those Eyes are just so gorgeous. So stalk Funky Kits and be the first to get yours.

Merry Christmas!

Hello Everyone!!! I would like to thank you for stopping bye today. I feel like I haven’t posted forever. I had to work the weekend and it just never left me much time to finish my cards but I finally got them done and thought I would share them with you.

First I have this adorable little elf here new from Sugar Nellie’s . Isn’t he adorable??? I know you all have had to of ordered yours already, they are just to cute!! And man have you seen Sugar Nellie’s Blog?? Some very exciting things are coming and you sure don’t want to miss them.

I made this card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge Blog. There is a gorgeous sketch over there.  So do hope you will join in, there is always wonderful prizes to be won.

Now here is a Christmas Chipboard Book I have been working on forever!!! I really wanted this to be CAS so there really isn’t much to it. I covered the PEACE Book with BG papers from last year.  I added a flower to the front and some Pearl Pen to some of the letters. This is the front of the book held together with Ribbon.

 

On one of the inside pages I added Gingerbread from Sugar Nellie I used some flower soft for her fur and added some pearl pen around the inside of the A. To the left it is a rub on that says Family Traditions.

 

The next page is Mister and Miss Elf. Aren’t they the cutest?? I just added a rub on to the left that says Jingle all the way.

Now the last page is Santa in Chimney. I added a few rub ones that says Dear Santa and Presents with a present. This is sort of hard to see in the pictures.

Well sorry for the bad pictures but it is sort of getting dark here. I can’t never get a good picture right now due to getting home so late. But do hope you can make most of it out.

Sugar Nellie Blog Hop!!!

Recipe for All Seasons!!!!!!

If you came here from Debbie’s Blog then you are on the right track if not then please start at the beginning at Sugar Nellie’s Blog.

I have had the pleasure to show you the Manga Santa! Isn’t he just the cutest Santa you have seen???

I have WHIPPED up this card using the Tri FOLD Shutter Card.

I took a piece of 5 1/2 x 12 sheet of SU cardstock and SCORED it with the short side up at 1 1/2 inches on both sides.

Then I turned it long ways and SCORED at 2, 4, 8, 10.

I then CUT the SCORED line from the 2 inch mark to the 10 inch mark on both sides with a Kraft Knife .

I then FOLDED IN the Valley and Mountain SCORED Lines.

I then CUT patterned paper to fit in the different sections.

 

I DRIZZLED on some  Diamond GLAZE  on his hat and pants and coat and then took a PINCH of Fun Flock and SPRINKLED  it on.

I used Copic’s to color my image and I really had to BLEND those reds in to get the color I wanted .

Happy Friday!!! I can say that today for we have a holiday this Monday so we get a 3 day weekend. Yippee!!!!

So this being Friday means a new challenge at Just Magnolia. This is the first challenge of the month so that means it is the Special Monthly Challenge.
