Happy Sunday dear friends !!!

I hope everyone is staying cool  in the air conditioning!!! We have had the hottest week ever. Our temperatures reached 108 the lowest was 105. I tell you work was so miserable we were all about half sick !!! We have air in the factory well somewhat but it was better than it was outside that is for sure. There are a lot of factory's that do not have air and Aisin is one of the good ones that do !! But without rain for weeks we finally got some about 3 am this morning. My grass is just brown no green at all !!!

But after work yesterday I came home and got all the chores done and today I had a play time. I love this Dreads from Krista Smith so knowing I had to make all the girlfriends of Kirstie’s some things I took advantage of this image and made a frame with her.

I used some old papers from DD’s. The image was colored with my copic’s and spica glitter pens . The corner die is one of Susana’s Custom Art and Cards new custom dies by Susana. I just love this set. Then I used the peace sign die and popped one in a bottle cap and used diamond glaze to cover it. I got the wooden peace word from HL.

Here is a close up of Dreads and I used some diamond glaze on her eyes to give them a pop.

Here is the back of the frame and I painted it with Susana’s Silks she has. I LOVE this color it is Spicy Tomato. The picture does not do the silks justice. These silks has such a gorgeous shine to them.

Well that is it for me today. I am going back to the craft room and do a little more to some other projects I have going. It takes me forever anymore to finish anything working the hours I do but I do enjoy getting to play what little time I get.

Celebrations

Good day dear friends. So glad you stopped in to see me.

Today I have a card to show you for the new challenge over at Lily Of The Valley Challenge Blog. The theme for the challenge is Celebrations !!!

My daughter’s best friend is getting married so I made her a card and it was the perfect Celebration.

I have used these adorable Wedding Couples image. I have colored them with my copic’s and the sentiment is also from Lily Of The Valley from the Happy Circular Sentiments. The papers are some older Daisy D’s papers and I have used some beautiful roses  and ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts. The lace and charm was from my stash.

Say It With Flowers

Hello dear friends!!!

Boy has it been a long week for me. We are back in full swing and short of help and working 12 hour days 6 days a week. I had post scheduled all week thank goodness or my blog would of been so scarce.

But today I have a card to show you I had on my desk drying last weekend and forgot about. This is Emma Say it with flowers from Lily Of The Valley ‘s new release. I know you have gotten these cuties by now and they are a dream aren’t they??

She has been colored with my copic’s and I have used some papers from Daisy D’s.

Sorry I haven’t been around blog land but right now all I get done is work and sleep so my only day off is trying to catch up.

Meet Joy and some Happy News !!!

Happy Thursday dear friends !!! I hope you are having a wonderful day. I have some exciting news but it won’t be a big deal to you all but it sure was for me. I went for my first check up at the surgeons office today and he said things were doing good and I got to move up to some baked potato’s, pasta, mac and cheese. Oh I was doing the happy dance!!! I was never in my live so sick of Broth and jello !!!! I don’t even want to see them for a long time. He said just to eat real soft mushy stuff. Don’t think it didn’t take me anytime to get home and fix me some food lol I was starving lol Okay enough but I was just so excited.

 

I would like to show you Joy today !! She is the last of my Simply Adorable images from Sugar Nellie and don’t forget to keep stalking Funky Kits for they will be coming soon. I have read all your comments and emails and am so glad to know you all love these too. They are just precious.

I have colored Joy with my copic’s and have used some older papers from Daisy D’s. I have made my card pretty simple for I didn’t want to take away from this beautiful image. The sentiment is from Sandra’s digi’s I just love these digi’s they are punched out with SU punches. I have added some raffia ribbon that a very dear friend sent me some time ago. I use this sparely lol And the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The branch is a MS punch.

Now for my second card today I have used this adorable Lily of the Valley image for there new challenge over at Lily of the Valley Challenge Blog. There is a beautiful sketch to follow that Lena made. I have used papers from K&Co and the SU border punch.  my flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the branch is from MS. This little beauty has been colored with my copic’s and I have used some glamour dust on her.  The corners were given to me ages ago from a dear friend and thought they worked pretty for this card.

Good Day Everyone!!! Thanks to those that have stopped bye. I have the Just Magnolia challenge for you today. I didn’t make a card this time, I went with the altered post it note hanger. A very dear friend sent me this vintage hanger a long time ago and I had never used it but decided to get it out and use it.

I made the square out of chipboard and adhered patterned paper to it, then followed Dawny’s sketch over at the challenge blog.

Evening All!!!!!! I do hope your week is going good so far. Mine has been busy busy busy!! My grandson started this first day of school here today. I know that must of been hard to start a new school. But he seemed to do okay. He is a sophomore this year. After working all day I had to go back to town and get all his supplies from the list they sent home!!! Man I forgot how expensive this all was lol

 

Anyway I finally got a couple cards done that I had been working on for a couple days. My first one is for the Sugar Bowl. There is a wonderful sketch by Marlene and I must say it was quite challenging lol The theme to go along with the sketch is Something Old Something New. SO my paper from Daisy D’s is really old lol and I have used one of my new images from Sugar Nellie.  Hope you all are joining in the challenge for there are some awesome prizes being given to one lucky person.

Evening Everyone!!

Did everyone have a wonderful 4th?? I had a wonderful time with my youngest and her

family and my grandson. We cooked out and I ate way to much lol

The oldest came today and got my grandson, so it is back to a quiet house lol

I finished a couple of projects I had going and as always, the picture taking on one is

not the greatest. I have done all I know to do!!!

Good Day Everyone!! Thanks so much for stopping bye to visit my blog. I so do appreciate

Today I would like to show you a little project I finally finished. It is a hanging notepad.

I used the adorable new digi image from Sugar Nellie, she is called Belle!!

So adorable these images. I used some chipboard and some cork to make it and used my

crop a dile to adhere the brads where the ribbon hanger is coming from. Don’t think you can

see the brads in the picture though. Yes I know I need lessons on taking pictures !!!
