Happy Sunday to you all!!! It has been a long time since I have popped in or actually crafted. But I spent last night cleaning this craft room up and trying to organize some. So today I decided to make something. 

I have been out of practice so much and trying to find things oh what a chore lol And I really don't remember where all my things I used came from. So sorry about that but here is a card I made today.

Over a year !!!

Well it has been over a year since I have crafted !!!! I have been off work on shut down and I just think I got bored lol But made a card and a gift bag for a friend's birthday.. As you can tell from the picture taking still can't take a good picture yet lol Lands it took me forever to figure out how to upload this lol Been way to long !!

The last of the birthday gifts

Hello dear friends !!! I so hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

Mine was busy as usual but the best part of the weekend is my dear sweet friend from the UK called me and we had such a wonderful chat. It is always so nice to get to talk in person.

But I did manage to finish up the rest of Ashley's birthday crafts lol I bought her present awhile back and she has no idea what it is yet but she had told me she needed me to make her things for her new room. So I showed you the frames last week and I finally finished her card and the rest.

This is Ava from Krista Smith isn’t she so adorable?? I just love these images. I colored her with copic’s and used some spica glitter pens on her. I so love these eyes and I used some diamond glaze on them to give them more of a pop. Papers are from some old SU papers.  The sentiment is from some words from TAC. I used the Whimsy Stamps ticket die for the sentiment. And as always I used some glamour dust glitter paint on the flowers.

Then here is a large chipboard letter A for her room which I used some more older papers from SU  I colored up a Tilda with my copic’s and spica glitter pens and this gorgeous flourish I got from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards.  I used the glamour dust glitter paint on the flowers also.

I could not get a good picture of this frame at all so I didn’t make it very big here for the glass is just shooting off so much glare. But this is another picture Ashley sent me to decorate for her. I just bought a frame at Wal-Mart and added some lace to it. I used the Whimsy Stamps banner dies and some sizzix alphabet dies.

 

Here is the story behind the picture she gave me. This is Trevor, He was in Ashley’s class and he passed away this winter. He had wondered off behind his house and had fell into the cold winter pond and drown.  So his parents had these papers made up and I have made it bigger here so you can read it. This really shook the kids up and Ashley wanted it decorated up some. But the picture above just doesn’t show very well. Sorry.

Well that is it for me for now. I have now finished up all her crafts she wanted, took me long enough but it is just so hard to get much done working long hours.

Frames for the birthday girl

Happy Memorial Day dear friends !!!!!!

I hope everyone has enjoyed there long weekend !!! I know I sure have that is for sure.

I went to the graveyard and decorated my parents grave along with my Aunt Rosie’s.

Then Saturday we had my oldest granddaughters birthday party. She turned 9. It was sure a hot day but we had a cookout and all the kids played volleyball and played in the pool. Then she got a trampoline for her birthday so they all had a great time in it. And this ol lady got in it too. Oh what a site it was !!!!

So yesterday I had a play day in my craft room finishing up all the projects that had been started for my youngest granddaughter’s birthday. She always wants some craft stuff from me along with her presents and this time she placed her own order along with a picture lol She is a total little diva that is for sure lol

But this is one of her dear friends she gave me a picture of so this is the frame I made for her. I used A Wee Stamp that I got at Whimsy Stamps along with the sentiment and die for it. Then I used a Memory Box die and added some bling. I used some lazer Chipboard from Make It Crafty and colored it with the Silks Acrylic Glaze. The flowers were painted with Glamour Dust Glitter Paint. And I colored my image with my copic’s and spica glitter pens. The paper is some older paper from SU.

The next frame is a image from Sylvia Zet for Susana’s Custom Art and Cards. She has also been colored with copic’s and spica glitter pens.

I used some more lazer chipboard from Make it Crafty and this gorgeous bling flourish is from a very sweet dear friend.

Flowers were painted with glamour dust glitter paint.

All the same things here except I used a Wee image here and the papers are also older SU papers.

I am just about done with my projects one more to go and my desk will be clean again lol I hope to finish it today. We will see.

I have used Prima Papers that I got from Susana and I have colored my image with my copic’s and Spica Glitter pens.

I have used the Memory Box die scroll on my card and the large white flower is from Prima.

I also used some Smooch Pearlized accent ink on the flowers of the image.

Come Hither Eyes

Oh look what i have to show you today !!! This is Come Hither Eyes from the Susana Loves Stamp Collection.

She has been colored with my copic’s and spica glitter pens.

And this gorgeous paper is a pad from Susana’s called Yours Truly from Echo Park. This pad is just beautiful !!!

I have used several Memory Box Dies for my card and and the flower is from Prima.

I used diamond glaze on the heart and eyes and glamour dust for the wings.

So hope you all got your hands on some of these beauties I tell you that you will love coloring these in and the eyes are just breath taking.

If the Shoe Fits

I am back with another card form the new release at Susana’s Custom Art and Cards. I am soooooooo loving these.

My image today is If the Shoe Fits !!! Adorable isn’t she ?? She has been colored with my copic’s and Spica Glitter Pens.

Lots of Glamour Dust on the wings. I also used some Diamond Glaze on the eyes.

Papers are from the Authentique pad Uncommon at Susana’s Custom Art and Cards I love this pad. Remember there are so many wonderful pads of paper at Susana’s.

Hello dear blogging friends !!!!!!!!!

Well I got some play time in today. I figured I had better enjoy the last few days I have off before I return to work Monday. Yelp I went and saw the surgeon yesterday and he has released me to go back to work. I am ready for the most part but will miss having so much free time. It has been a whole month that I have been off since my surgery. But am feeling good and am ready to return, just not the 11 1/2 hours. lol

First I would like to give you a head’s up that there will be a new release coming Sunday from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards. You don’t want to miss out so keep stalking the Follow Your Heart Blog so you don’t miss out !!!

But I wanted to make a note book for a dear friend of mine that has been here helping me and checking on me all the time. It is so nice to have a nurse around when you need one isn’t it ??

I have used this Nurse Tilda for my card (fitting huh?) she has been colored with my copic’s and spic glitter pens.

I have used one of the Memory Box dies  and added lots of flat pearls to it.

The borders are from Cheery Lynn Designs and I have used twinklets on all the flowers.

I used a magnolia flower and Marianne leaf die

The papers that I have used are some older SU papers. And I used walnut stain distressed ink on all the edges.

Some play time !!

Good Day dear friends !!! I hope everyone’s week is going well. It is almost the weekend for all the hard working people !!!

As for me, well I am still off work . Yes I went and seen the surgeon  yesterday and he is not letting me return to work  yet. I go back for another follow up in a couple of weeks

It is nice to be off work but not without a paycheck coming in. Plus I am really starting to get bored lol Yelp you read that right. i was sort of ready to go back to work. Maybe just not the long hours lol

But today I wanted to show you a couple of things I have made over the last few days that I finally finished.

First up here is a birthday card for my brother. I am not very good doing guy cards so no flowers here lol. But I have used Edwin here from Magnolia. He has been colored with my copic’s and  the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.  I have used a label from Spellbinders and some brads with spacers in the corner.

These gorgeous papers are from Maja Design that was from the Crea Shop. Oh how I wish we could get these papers here in the states !!!!!!!!

Next I finally finished a bag I needed to put a gift in and I used these adorable Hanglar images. Papers are from K&Co and I used Spellbinder corner die, Cheery Lynn Designs for the doily and a die from Tim Holtz for the bracket.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have used a Magnolia leaf die and a MS branch punch. The lace was from my stash and I distressed the edges of the papers with distressed inks.  And the border punch I used is from SU.

I also used a Viva Decor Pearl Pen to make some  flat pearls on the corner dies. Susana has lots of Viva Decor Products in her store and am so loving playing with all these products.

Happy New Year !!!

Hello dear friends !!

I was doing some blog hopping and came across this gorgeous layout that Camilla had done and just had to give it a try. I so love what she done. So I cased it.

I have used this adorable special Tilda from the Crea Shop in the Netherlands. This Tilda is for Breast Cancer and she was given to me as a Christmas Gift  along with these gorgeous papers that I about cried when I cut into them from a very sweet special friend. Thanks hon. These papers are from Maja Design and I will be using them sparingly lol They are also from the Crea Shop.

Tilda has been colored with my copic’s and some Spica Glitter Pens. And has been cut out with the Spellbinders oval dies. Then I also used the Spellbinder frame behind it.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and have been coated with Glamour Dust Glitter Paint. The leafs, flower  and flourish dies are  from Magnolia.

I also used a MS border punch  and on that panel it was cut out with a SU punch to tie the bow. (love this Camilla)

The sentiment is computer generated and I used some SU punches for it also.

Ribbon is from my stash.

This picture here shows you the a little of the inside of the card, it has been lined with some more of these gorgeous Maja Design Papers.

And this view you can see the front panel, that it opens up and is tied with the ribbon. I just love how Camilla done this. Thanks for such wonderful inspiration dear.

I have used a sketch from PaperTake Weekly Challenge Blog ( well I hope you can still see the sketch after I added a lot to the card.

Happy Birthday !!

 

Well I am getting on a roll here getting to play. Has been a long time since I have been able to play so much. But I know when I get to go back to work, those long hours will still be there waiting on me lol

But I had a good play yesterday and made a birthday card for my oldest. Like I told you yesterday I have 4 birthdays this month .

So I have used this gorgeous image made by Krista Smith. I so love her images, her hair is just so wonderful to color. This stamp is from a very very sweet dear friend and I just love it. Thanks sweetie !!!! She is called Cinderella for Sugar Nellie. She has been colored with my copic’s and I have used Spica Glitter Pens and Glamour dust , and some smooch pearlized  accent ink on her.

The papers are from Lily Bee designs that I got from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards.

Dies are from Cheery Lynn Designs. and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts which I have coated in Glamour Dust Glitter Paint.

Sentiment and punches for it are from SU.

The gems are from a very sweet dear friend also, You have me spoilt dear.

Have you all had a wonderful weekend?? I got to play today and made a card using one of the newest releases from Victoria Case for Susana’s Custom Art and Cards .

Today I am showing you Happy Town. This image is from the Classic Retro Collection.

The image has been colored with my copic’s and I have used some diamond glaze for all the windows.

The flourish is a Memory Box die and I have added some pearls to it.

The sentiment is also from this collection at Susana’s it came free with the set. I just used one of my punches and separated the saying.

Papers are from Basic Grey and I have used a Cheery Lynn Designs  frame.

I think this image would make a wonderful New Home Card !!

Painting Puppy

Woooo Hooo look at this adorable Painting Puppy !! Yes he is another sneak peak from Lily Of The Valley. Did any of you stop bye there booth at the NEC and grab your stamps already???  These will be online at Lily Of The Valley the 10th if you missed out.

I used some papers and border punch from SU and a Marianne die. I left this pretty simple as I figured it would go for a little boy and I don’t think he would appreciate the flowers lol

Pearls and Lace

Happy Friday dear friends!!!

Today is a new challenge up at Just Magnolia and Hanglar Challenge Blog.  The challenge was set by teamie Anne and it is Pearls and Lace. I managed to get this project done while I was on vacation a couple weeks ago.

I have decorated a wooden tissue box and used Hanglar images for it. I have used lots of Glamour Dust Glitter Paint on all my flowers.

Kleenex ???

Well how is everyone doing?? I hope fine. I am still working insane hours and my project I am showing you today has took me over a month to make !!! I know crazy isn’t it. Work is just cutting into my crafting time lol  But this week I am on a much needed vacation !!! I have so missed getting to play everyday so now that the chores are done, it is time to play lol

But today I would like to show you a project using the Sylvia Zet images from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards. I so love these images I can’t wait for the next release that is for sure.

First up is Veritas !! Isn’t she adorable ???  I have used papers from Su on this Kleenex box and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima flowers from Susana’s also.

This side I have used one of the Memory Box die  and a MS butterfly punch.

Next up is Precious Present, now she is just as adorable. Dies used on this side are from Spellbinders and a Memory Box die . I added some glamour dust to her wings and on all the eyes I have added some Diamond Glaze .

Now here is Poppy !!! Dies here are from Magnolia

This cutie is called Princess.

Now you see why it has taken me so long to get this made working these crazy hours. But it was so much fun to make especially using these adorable images.

Warm and Cozy

It’s Thursday again folks and that means I am back with a new challenge over at Lily Of The Valley Challenge Blog.

I tell you it is so nice for the challenges are just perfect for me to get my Christmas Cards done and more than ever with the newest Christmas images from  Lily Of The Valley, it just makes it so easy.

Our challenge this week is Warm and Cozy !!! So I have used this cutie Christmas Bunnies in Stocking  from Lily Of The Valley, for he looks like he is so toasty warm in there. lol

My image has been colored with copic’s and I have used some glamour dust on the fur.

All my papers have been distressed with my distress it all and some distressed ink.  And these beautiful papers are from Raspberry Road. I used some spellbinder dies on my card and the sentiment is also from Lily Of The Valley from the Christmas Greetings and punched out with punches from SU.

The flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts and I used some stickles on it to make it sparkle.

Witching you A Happy Birthday

Long time so play lol

How is everyone doing?? I hope fine and dandy !!! Still working lots and lots of hours  and making something takes me a week or two to make. This project I am showing you today has took a couple weeks to do. I just work on things a little bit at a time while I chill out before bed.

I made this project for my cuz that is having a birthday this month. I used this adorable digi image from Wee Stamps. Isn’t she just precious??? She is colored with copic’s.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the spider border is from MS. Ribbon from SU and the papers are some older ones I had in my stash.

Below is the inside of the package. Now I didn’t decorate this up much at all but it does the purpose.
