Happy Birthday

 

Hello everyone!! Well I am back again this weekend to share another card. This coming Friday is my lovely granddaughters birthday so I made her this card for her special day. This is one of Elizabeth Bell’s digi images. I just love it.You would not believe the detail in this stamp. Gorgeous!!!!

I colored her with my copics and used some papers from DCWV. I saw a sketch that the lovely Bev had made so just had to use it. So love her sketch’s, thanks dear.

I also used the gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, loving these blue ones so much, they are two toned. I added some ribbon from my stash and also the MS border and branch punches. And the wording I am afraid I threw the package away so don’t know who this one is from.

I am entering this into the PaperTake Weekly Challenge of Say it with Flowers.

Finally!!!

Hello Everyone!!!
I am finally back with some cards to show!!! I feel like I have been away forever lol
I had such a busy weekend last weekend with my grandson, it was a wonderful weekend but sure never got any crafting done. Then the week was full of long hours working, but the good note is I got on a different line and have a much easier day working now ! YIPPEE

So here is what I have to show you for my weekend fun !!! I had gotten most of my images colored by the weekend so just had to put everything together!!!

First off I have one of the new image from Sugar Nellie of the Mary Hall Collection. This is Miss Tulip!!! Isn't she just precious?? I just love these new images from Mary Hall, they are larger and was such a breeze to color. She was colored with my copic's and I followed the sketch over at Sketch and Stash Challenge. The papers I used are from my new pad from DCWV, and I added a flower from Prima and a pearl brad. I also added some pearl pen to a couple of the corners and I used one of the MS border punches.


Now look at this oldie from Sugar Nellie!!! I so love the animal collection and this one is called Nuts from the Home Grown collection. I used my copic's to color the image and I followed the sketch over at Mojo Monday. I used the MS border punch and also added a small acorn to the image.


Now here is another one of the new images from Mary Hall at Sugar Nellie. I think she is so cute.
She is called Miss Sweet Pea!!! I again colored her with my copic's and used some papers from BG. I used the gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and used the MS branch with them and also used the MS border punch. My image is raised with pop dots.
I so hope you all have gotten some of the new images from Mary Hall, you will so enjoy these trust me. I have followed the sketch over at Friday Sketchers.


And here I have one of the new images from the Get Well Collection from Whiff Of Joy. This one is from the Elizabeth Bell Collection. I needed a card for my friend's daughter who just graduated Nursing school so I thought this was just the perfect card for her.

I used the papers from my new pad from DCWV. And used some of the gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon is from SU. I added some pearl pen to the side of my card and my sentiment I am at lost. Here I used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday and I am also entering this in the challenge Stamp Something as there challenge is 2 of something and I have used 2 of the Gardenia Stem Flowers .

Happy Wednesday everyone!!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and your week is going good so far. I had a fabulous time with my grandson but boy did we work lol But it was such a joy to have him here.

Today I have some cards to show you. I know most of the time I always show you the new images released from Sugar Nellie but today I would like to show you one of the older ones. I love the older images too and they were getting dust on them lol No not really but wanted to remind you all of the older images Sugar Nellie has. This one is To Catch A Big Fish. Isn't he adorable. I used some papers from K&Co and used some fishing embellishments from Colorbok. And of course the image was colored with my copic's.

And now one of the newer images. One from the Manga collection. This reminds me of my grandson for he is always doing sports. I am not for sure of the paper but I used some stickers and adhered them to some chipboard. He is colored with my copic's.
And since today is Wednesday, it is a new challenge over at Whiff of Joy, and the challenge we have for the next 2 weeks is a color challenge, Brown, Yellow and a color of your choice.

I have used Henry here,he looks so sick. The wording is also from Whiff Of Joy. I used a flower from Prima. I do hope you will come and join us this week.

Shadow Box

Good Morning all!!! How has every one's weekend been?? I hope fine. It has been really nice here this weekend, Not cold and not hot just perfect lol
So I got to have my grandson with me this weekend after a long time and boy did we work lol.
We worked in the yard and got it all ready for summer and then yesterday we spent the day painting the porch. It looks so nice. He is such a handy young man. But it was so good to have him here . Today he has to go home but before I take him home we are going to the movies.

So as you can see my crafting time has been very very little this weekend and that means I am really behind lol Oh and I just don't like that lol

But a few weeks ago a friend of mine asked me to make her friend a shadow box of her wedding so this is what I came up with. As you all know my picture taking isn't the greatest so I do hope these look okay. I have got to get lessons or learn how to take photo's good. But I finally put the finishing touches on it this morning. (grandson is still sleeping Lol)

One for the Girls!!!

Yelp!!! This week our theme at Just Magnolia is One for the Girls!!!!
I have used one of the new images from the Stamp kit and have colored Tilda with my copics and spica glitter pens. And my papers are from BoBunny. Loving these. I added a large flower from Prima but then on top of that I added one of the Gardenia Stem Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and added the MS branch punch. My dear friend Kim told me about the Pearl Pens over at Susans Custom Art and Designs and so I just had to give them ago and omg!!! I love them. It looks like you have added some flat pearls to your card. What a great way to add embellishment to your card without trying to find the perfect pearls, you just use the pen to add them to any size you want. The ribbon I used was just from my stash.

Well it is an early weekend for me as I am taking a vacation day tomorrow!! I am really ready for it lol

My Pride and Joy

Well do you all remember a few days ago I showed you a picture of my oldest grandson going to the prom?? Well my youngest daughter got a picture of him and his girlfriend and sent it to me so I just had to share it with you all. He is so grown up, I remember when he was just a little one. You know they say there is always something special about your first granchild, well that is so true.

Good Day!!!!!! Well it is the first of the week so that means I am back to work. The weekends go so fast!!! But for some good news, I FINALLY got out of the department from *&)(*&()*& !!!!
So my work day isn't real bad now. I am so loving the new line I am on and it is so much easier, especially on an old lady like me lol But the draw back to it is that we go in a hour early so that means 3 am the ol alarm goes off now lol

Anyway on to my card I have today, I have used one of the new images from the Get Well Collection from Whiff of Joy. This one is Willow with the Chicken Soup!!! Oh isn't she just a beauty??? She is colored in with my copic's and I have used papers from BG. The flower is from a tutorial I found over on Julie's blog. So easy, and I used the MS branch punch with it.

I made some pearls with my pearl pens and the sentiment well not for sure on that one but I did use the SU punches for it.

I am going to enter this into the Allsorts Challenge as I have used there gorgeous sketch. Thanks ladies!!!

Happy Mother's Day Everyone!!!

I wanted to pop some cards I made this week up on my blog, before my gang got here lol. Will be quite busy with the little ones roaming around lol But would like to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day and hope your day is filled with wonderful times.

My first card here is for Sketch Saturday and I have used one of the new Anya's here, she is colored with my copics and I have added some glamour dust to her gloves. I have used the yummy papers from BG, I so love this set of papers.

The border punch is from Martha Stewart and I have added some pearl pen to the centers of each. And the sentiment is from SU and of course these gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. (my blog candy is about to expire soon). And under the flowers I have used the MS branch punch.

Here is a notebook I made with one of the new images soon to be released from Sugar Nelllie from the Mary Hall collection. You all are going to love these new images for they are so much larger now. Had a blast coloring these in. I used papers from SEI, the border punch is from MS The metal plate of wording is from Making Memories and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, along with the leaf and branch punch from McGill and Lem. I have added some pearl pens to lots of places on the book. I followed the sketch over at Create4Fun Challenge Blog

And look at this one, I have searched high and low for these images of Morehead and finally found them with the help of my dear friend Bev so I just got them yesterday and had to ink one of them up. Isn't she a doll??? I have used papers from BoBunny and followed the sketch over at Paper Take Weekly. She is colored with my copics and I have added some pearl brads that my dear friend Bev got me for my birthday last month. Thanks sweetie. The sentiment is from Whiff Of Joy.

Now another sneak peak of the Mary Hall collection from Sugar Nellie. I just love this one with the Sunflower, Oh she is so cute. My photo didn't turn out well for my papers are kind of glossy. But here I followed the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl. I colored her with my copic's and added a flower from Prima with the LEM punch. I have a lace doily behind the image and added some pearl pen to the card. Taking some getting use to with these pens but once I get it I am going to love them.

Today I have a card to show you for the Magnolia-licious Challenge. This will be my first time joining in this challenge and what a wonderful sketch there is. Oh I so enjoyed making this card.

I have used this precious Tilda from the Stamp kit and have colored her with my copic's and spica glitter pens. I used some pop dots to pop her up from the card.

My papers are from Daisy D's and I used some peel off's in a couple of the corners. The ribbon is from my stash but the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I so love these roses as you all know. lol I added the MS leaf and branch die with them.

Tea Light Card

Good Day everyone!!! I hope everyone is doing well today. I am back at work today so hope this post goes off without any hitches. I have wanted to make one of these Tea light cards since I saw them on Lena's blog. She has a wonderful tutorial for you over there so if you want to make one make sure you check her blog out.

This is my first one and I must say I hope the second one will turn out better have a few mistakes on it but hey 1st time lol

I have used some new images from Whiff Of Joy Store Stamp Kit. This kit is just out of this world. I so love each image on this sheet and just had to have it. My images have been colored in with my copic's and all the sentiments are on in the kit also, it is a must have that is for sure.

On the front here I have used some of my new flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, and have used the MS branch punch with it. I have added some flat pearls in a couple of the corners and the sentiment is punched out with SU punches and added some flat pearls to it also.

Here is a close up of the front. I added some SU string to keep the tea lights from falling out. lol

Now here is the inside and I am so sorry for the bad photo. I just can't get a good picture anymore of my cards. I am using a daylight for by the time I get home it is not good lighting . But something is still wrong so please forgive the pictures.

The images on the inside are also colored with my copic's and and the wording is from Whiff of Joy also and I used the spellbinder dies on them. The papers I have used are from BoBunny and these have to be my favorite that is for sure.
I used the yellow pearl pen from Susana's on this and here is one of my mistakes lol I got in to big of a hurry to finish it and wasn't doing a good job with the pearl pen. Lesson learned, don't hurry with these pens. They sure are not straight that is for sure lol I know what to do next time.

Had so Show you this

I got a wonderful surprise in my email and just had to share this with you. My youngest daughter emailed me this picture her sister sent her of my oldest grandson. I haven't seen him for almost a year and I really miss him. But he was going to the prom last weekend with his girlfriend and so I just had to show off his picture.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!! Well today is the last day for me to be off work, have to go back to the grind board tomorrow so this morning I had some play time, and managed to do a few challenges.

My first card is for Sketchy Colors, they have a gorgeous sketch over there this week and just had to join in. There is always so much inspiration on there blog. I have used one of Elizabeth Bells Digital images called Rachel the Angel. Isnt' she just adorable??? Oh I just fell in love with her. I have colored her with my copic's and my papers are from Bo Bunny. I used the SU ticket punch on the corner of the image and added some spacers and brads in each. I added a Prima flower with a button center that one of my very dear friends sent me, and added the MS branch punch to it. The sentiment is punched out with SU punches. My friend Kim showed me the pearl pens and just had to get some and boy do I love them, so I added them to my card today, I got them over at Susana's and talk about fast shipping !!! WOW!! But you all are going to love these.

My next card is for the sketch over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp, I have used one of the new images from the Get Well Collection at Whiff Of Joy, isn't this clown just the cutest??? She is colored with my copic's and I added some Ric rack to the card along with those awesome pearl pens from Susana's (see post above). I also die cut a Balloon out and added the Whiff of Joy sentiment to it.


Now here is another one of the new Get well images from Whiff of Joy. Little Doctor I just went to the Dr Friday for my checkup, and this is what my Dr had on so just had to color him in just like the real Dr lol This card has been made with the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. I used papers from Anna Griffith. and the red medical cross was just one I had in my stash. I also added some of the red pearl pen from Susana's ( top post). He is colored with my copic's and I used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday to make the card.

PopCorn anyone???

Afternoon!!! Well I hope you all are having better weather in your parts than I am. It is raining cats and dogs here. We have had rain all weekend so far, but hey that is okay gives me more opportunity to play lol

I finally finished a tote box that I got from Creative Cuts and what a more perfect stamp to use for this. This is one of the New Manga's from Sugar Nellie she is called Cheerleader.

Now I know you all are loving these cuties for I have read your comments you have left me on my other posts about them. So I do hope you have got yours ordered so they will be ready to go out Tuesday to come home to you.

So what better subject for her to be cheering none of than Sugar Nellie, so I added a computer generated tag for 3 Cheers for Sugar Nellie and used some SU punches to punch it out. And what do most people eat when they are at a game?? Yes some popcorn so had to fill the box with some popcorn. Now I would of had this project done sooner but I kept eating all the popcorn and hadn't had my project finished so today I finally finished it and went to the store and got another bag lol Yelp I am going to be eating it too lol

This was really left simple I just colored her with my copic's and cut her out with the spellbinder dies and added the tag.

Well I had better go and finish up some more DT work and then I think I am going to chill the rest of the day watching some TV. As long as I don't fall asleep I will be okay but this rain always makes me so sleepy lol

New Manga's!

Happy Weekend everyone!!! I hope you all are having a great one so far. I sure am, but my weekend started yesterday with a vacation day lol Love those lol I just got back from eating lunch with my friend Lisa. We try to get together a couple times a month since her husband passed away. It is good to spend some time with her and talk about the old days lol

Today I have some new Manga's to show you from Sugar Nellie, I just love these New Manga's. I have managed to make a few challenge cards today to show you, the first one here is Tiny Tiddler, isn't she cute??? I have colored her with my copics as always, I used the sketch for this card from Create 4 Fun challenge blog, I am not for sure of the papers as they were in my stash. But I have used one of the MS border punches and branch for the card and then the gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts roses. I just got my new order this week and so love the orange color ones. I believe the wording is from Stampavie

Now this card is another new Manga from Sugar Nellie also, she is called Godilocks
Love her hair don't you?? I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers for this card. My papers are from K&Co and I used another one of the MS border punches for this one and added some flat pearls. I used the SU ticket punch around the image and the ribbon is also from SU. I added brads and flat spacers to the corners of the image. Goldilocks has been colored with my copic's also.


And this cutie is for the challenge over at Stamp Something. I so love this image of Tilda I have colored her with my copics and added some glamour dust to her gloves and socks. I added some ribbon from my stash and used some gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts (yes they have more than just the roses) I added the MS branch behind the flowers. The wording is from Simon Says Stamp.
