Journal Notebook

I got some new die cuts from Debbie's Die Cuts so I had to jump in and try them out. These are the new brackets from there. Oh so many things you can do with these!!!! This notebook uses the SU Close to Cocoa DSP and there Enjoy every moment stamp set. I also used Tim Holtz grungboard and crackle paint for the word notes, and I used the prima flowers with rangers stickles in the middle as well as on the brackets. The ribbon came from HL.

Pictures from the Shower

My daughter is getting married the 5th of April so they had a wedding shower for her today at the Conservation Club. They got some very nice presents. She is registered at her favorite place and he registered at Target and I think Rachelle won the prize lol Most of the packages were from Bed Bath & Beyond.
Anyway here are a couple of pictures from today. This is Jeremy, Kirstie and Rachelle soon to be Conyer.

Just love Magnolia

I am trying so hard to learn to blend in my colors. I don't know why but I have always had so much trouble with that. But Claudia has the most gorgeous Stamps I have ever seen they are so adorable they are from Magnolia. So she stamped me some images still I could get my order in. They are just the cutest stamps ever. So anyway I tried blending again so here is a card I made for a friend of mine at work. Paper and punches and the wording stamps are from SU. The stamp is from Magnolia.

It's the Weekend !!!!!

And you know what that means !!! It is time for Beate's Sketch Challenge HOORRAY !!!!!!!
I used the sketch challenge to make one of my grandkids a Easter Card. I used SU Fall Flowers DSP and there Very Vanilla and there ticket punch and ribbon . I also used WWP Colormates Dark and Medium Orange Dream. I used Rangers Spiced Marmalade to sponge around the edges and the stamps were from TAC

My Brother

Here is a couple of pictures of my brother and the band he plays in. One of the guys couldn't make it Sunday but my brother is the one in the funkie hat and the one playing the big cow base. The band is called BlueGrass Gospel Alliance. I just love listening to them play. We had a good time and sure got full on all the food lol

Mothers Day Card

I made this card for a Challenge I saw on Papertake Weekly Challenge!!
I am so glad I came upon this blog. Sounds like so much fun.
The theme was to make a spring card and they said you could make a Mother's Day Card. So I made this card for my Granddaughter to give her mommy for Mother's Day.
Stamps are from Stampland and the colored paper and word stamp is from SU.

Oh don't laugh to hard lol

A very sweet lady stamped me a few images of the gorgeous stamps from Magnolia and I gave it a shot of trying to color blend for my first time. Needless to say I need tons of practice at this. Just don't laugh to hard lol I made the card for Claudia's Bog Challenge.
I used colored pencils and some gamsol but these images are just the most adorable stamps I have ever saw and I sure ruint it. But I won't give up I will keep at it till I get it lol

Notebooks for the wedding party

Well I finally finished the rest of the notebooks for the girls in Rachelle's wedding party. I am making matching pens also but don't have ethem done yet The stamps are from PaperBag Studio and the paper is mostly from SU along with the punches.

Claudia's Challenge

Claudia is having a challenge on her blog for one of the most gorgeous stamp companys I have ever seen. Once you see these cuties you are hooked. They are so precious !!! So we were to make a card or project with our favorite color. So anyone that knows me knows what my favorite color is lol PURPLE !!!! So I made myself a chipboard notebook for her challenge. Wish me luck everyone for I am so loving these stamps !!!!!! I used Paperbag Studio's stamps and SU. the paper is from SU and The Paper Studio. I also used Debbie's Die Cuts new flourishes on it I painted it with rangers Eggplant paint and there purple stickles on top

My Granddaughter

Well my oldest granddaughter who is going to be 5 in May, is giving her mother away at her wedding in April. Yesterday they had a girls shopping day getting the last minute things for the wedding and Kirstie finally got her dress she is going to wear. They all came down last night to do the invitations and she had to bring her dress for grandma to see and of course she had to model it for me lol She is such a doll.

It's Beates Sketch Challenge34 !!!

Yipee !!!!!!!! I just love the weekends for Beate always has her sketch challenge up when I get home from work on Friday. I just love doing these. I took the layout this time and made a chipboard notebook. My youngest is getting married in April so she asked me to make the girls in the wedding some chipboard notebooks. More Flourishes from Debbie's Die Cuts

Well I got to play some more with the wonderful Flourishes from Debbie's Die Cuts. These are so ADDICTING !!!! This is the guest book for my daughters wedding. Yes it isn't the typical guest book but the wedding isn't going to be that typical either lol.
I cover chipboard with some textured wallpaper. Cut out the names with my sizzix alphabet and then I painted the flourishs with Rangers weathered blue crackle paint. After this was dry I sponged on some Faded Jeans distressed inks to them. You all need to check these out at Debbie's Die Cuts for these things are like I said very Addictive

Wow New Die Cuts

Man you all have to go check out Debbie's Die Cuts new dies !!!!!!!!! And she is getting some more dies in too. Oh have I had a blast with these new flourishes. Talk about so many possiblities !!! She has out done herself now.
I made a chipboard notebook cover with the large flourish on it and a card with the smaller ones. These here are made of out chipboard but she cuts them in different products. Here I painted mine with the Rangers paint Pesto then added some stickles to the top of them. Man folks these are a must have.

Two for One

I made a card for a sketch challenge that Lisa has on her blog and I made the card for the COTM at SSR. The paper is from SU and the stamp is from TAC. This card is going to be traveling to Hong Kong !!! How cool is that ??

Weekend Sketch Challenge 33

Well it is finally Friday again !!!!! Two reasons to love Fridays 1. I don't have to work for 2 days lol and then it is Beate's challenge's. I just love these challenges she has. All paper and stamps are SU. I made a Valentines Day card with this challenge for my brother and sister in law. Thanks so much Beate for the challenges

Notebook covers

I am still addicted to the chipboard and bind it all lol So I made a couple more notebook covers for the notepads I had. All paper and stamps and punches are SU except for the man stamp and that is from PaperBag Studio's.

WWP ROCKS !!!!

I am so in love with WWP I was lucky enough to receive some of there new ruche paper and it ROCKS !!! I made this notebook out of there chipboard and covered it with there papers.
The front is covered with there new ruche paper
I then used there colormates Dark Spring Green/Light Luscious Lime/ Medium Luscious Lime
Then also I used there Caribbean color Kiwi.
I sponged the edges with Rangers Walnut Distressed Inks
and the little girl stamp is from PaperBag Studios the punches, brads and word stamp is from SU.

Another Valentine Card

Cards for Soldiers

On Beate's blog she asked if we would help her send a package of cards to the soldiers so they can send some Valentines Cards to there familys so I made a few cards to send her. Most of the stamps are from SU.

Beate's Sketch Challenge 32

I made another card for Beate's Sketch Challenge and also made a Valentine card for my Granddaughter. The stamps are from TAC and the paper is from WWP and wow check there new Ruche paper out it is knock dead gorgeous paper. Has so much texture to it. I also used the colormates Deep Fairy Tale Pink and there Treasure Crimson Red.

Bloggers Challenge week 31

I made a Challenge card for Lisa's blog. I took advantage of the sketch to make a Valentine Card for some of my grandkids. The papers are WWP ColorMates Deep Fairy Tale Pink and their Treasures Crimson Red. These papers are just awesome. The stamps are TAC and I used my SU Scalloped punch and my sizzix heart die.

I got published !!!

Wow this is awesome I just got my Feb issue of VSN and I got published again. There is so much info in this magazine. The stamps are from Faerie Song. I used Marvy Markers on acetate and spritz with water and smooshed my paper in this. Just love the backgrounds made with this. If you click on the image you will be able to see it better it is the top right one.

Get Well Card

I made this Get Well card for my very good friend Cindy Roland who had surgery. She is doing great but it will take time for her to heal. I used SU stamps and the sketch was from Lisa's January Club Sample.

Well it is the weekend again I so love the weekends it means no going to work and it is play time lol. This week on Beate's Blog she has her sketch challenge again so I made this card for a friend for her birthday. It is a very old retired SU set. I used my Radiant rains to make the background and stamped image. Love making backgrounds. So don't forget to go check out Beate's Sketch, it sure is a lot of fun.

Another Challenge

Well I came home from work today and seen on Beate's Blog she had posted a challenge just for fun so thought I would join in and make something. I used some chipboard and covered the pieces with SU designer paper and made a bind it all post it note holder that I had seen on Lisa Sommersville blog.

Note Books

These are some chipboard notebooks I made today. I am so addicted to the bind it all and chipboard right now. I just can't get enough. I used some of Maya Roads flowers and flourishes some sizzix flower die cuts and also some of Tim Holtz grungeboard.

Jan Design Challenge on SSR

For the Jan. Design Challenge on SSR, Debbie's Die Cuts was the vendor. I had a great time making these projects for her. I just love the frames she has. I used the cuttlebug embossing folders on those. Then the card is made with her inchie die cut. Also the CD envy I used a mask on it and sprayed it with Rangers Color Washes and sprayed with some webbing spray. The post it note holder (Oh another one of my favorites) I used some patterned paper and some crackle paint on it. The tag is awesome too I love using these they are large tags so much room to work with. On this tag I used one of Tim Holtz 12 Days of Christmas techniques using the crackle paint. I made the tag to go in my brothers scrapbook I got him for Christmas.
