Sea Cliff Eyes

Hello dear friends !!

Today I would like to show you one of the new images from Susana Loves Stamps Collection. This is Sea Cliff Eyes.

She has been colored with Copic’s and Spica Glitter Pens and lots of Glamour dust. I used some diamond glaze for the eyes (loving these eyes)

The paper pad that I used is from Authentique from Susana’s. Love all the wonderful pads she has such a large assortment for anything you want.

Mariposa Eyes

It’s that time !!!!!!!!! Time for the Susana’s Custom Art and Cards blog hop !!!

Susana is launching some new branding for SCACD Exclusive Stamps in general and will now be calling ANY of them Susana Loves Stamps. To be clear it does not mean she personally designed what you are seeing but she did have a part in bringing it forward. Look out for more Susana Loves projects in the works.

I have colored Mariposa with my copic’s and have used my Spica Glitter Pens. I used some diamond glaze on her eyes to make them pop and some glamour dust  on her wings.

The paper pad I used is from Bo Bunny called Garden Girl Collection.

I used a couple of the new Make It Crafty Chipboard and used some glamour dust glitter paint on them. The large flower is from Prima called Cameo.

Next on the hop is Chris. I know you all are going to love this new release from Susana Loves Stamps !!

Hello dear friends !!! Well it is Monday !! I so hope everyone’s week is starting out great !!!

I got a little play time in yesterday that I would like to show you but first I wanted to let you know that Susana’s Custom Art and Cards store is now open again today !!!

Susana is up and running again and boy does she has some awesome new products in store. Here are just a few to mention.

And here is what I have used on my project today

New Luminarte Mica’s and Silks

I have to say I had such a blast with these silks !!! OMG !!! These are just so awesome !!! If you click on the link for the Silks above there are some tutorials by Marti on different things to do with them but I wanted to try it on some wood !!! Oh check it out ! I think this product is just amazing. I so love it, only 1 coat of paint here on this box and no streaks nothing ( I am not a good painter so this is awesome) I used Blue Flame on the box. Then I used Ginger Peach on the Crinoine  which I got from the Funkie Junkie.  These silks took the crinoine wonderfully !!! I also used the Ginger Peach on white paper and stamped the saying over it. These silks can be used on just about anything (paper, wood, fabric, clay and so much more)

And here is a couple more ways I used it. I put some Blue Flame on white paper and ran it through one of my embossing folders and then took a sanding block and sanded the embossing some. Then I also used it on the seam binding I have laying on the card front here. I am telling you this stuff is wonderful !!! I know I am going to get me some more colors to play with. This product is just wonderful.

Sorry I ran out of time to make this into a card but so wanted you to see what you can do with these silks.

Hopefully I can finish something else I started with the silks this week and show it to you this weekend. Hello dear sweet blogging friends !!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend !!! Same ol for me but did manage to get a card made yesterday. I tell you working all these hours sure has put a damper on my crafting fun. It is like I am only able to get on the net once a week and that is so not me lol But we have to work to pay the bills and pay for our habits don’t we??

Well anyway the card I made is this adorable Glinda from Krista Smith for my granddaughters birthday.  I so love coloring her images. I have colored her with my copic’s and spica glitter pens. I also used diamond glaze on her eyes and lots of glamour dust.

This gorgeous paper I got from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards and I so love this pad. It is Bo Bunny’s Serenity Collection. I didn’t add any layers for I didn’t want to cover this sheet up at all. I painted the paper behind the image with red glamour dust glitter paint.

The corner dies are from Whimsy Stamps and the ticket die is from My Favorite Things. I used a Magnolia leaf and border die and the branch punch is from MS. The flowers were coated with crystal glamour dust glitter paint.

I have not entered a challenge in ages with my work hours but after coloring this image I saw where Saturated Canary Challenge  is to use Twine and so I am going to enter this card there.

I had colored this image a while back and so I just stuck it in a frame today.  Actually I made a couple of them so will give them to the granddaughters.

Well that is it for me for awhile. I do hope you all are doing well and again so sorry I don’t get around to blogging much but I do appreciate those that do stop bye and leave me such sweet comments. Love ya all!!

This image is Give Peace a Chance !!! I have colored her with my copic’s and used spica glitter pens. I added some diamond glaze to her eyes.

Papers are from the new  Glitz Paper - 6 x 6 pad - Vintage Blue Fancy

I have used some of the chipboard corners from Make it Crafty and covered them with some glamour dust and used some Zva Creative Pearls on them.

Thank you and new products

Hello dear blogging friends!! Well I had to make a card today as I needed a Thank You card so after I got my work done I finally got to get it done.

And OMG !!!! Check these papers out !!!! These Maja Design papers are just breath taking and I about cried when I cut into them. Oh I just love them. They are from the collection of Crea Diem. I was so lucky to win these on the Maja Design Blog, and was so over the moon !!!! Thanks Marie love them.

I have used Tilda here on my card and have colored her with my copic’s and spica glitter pens.

I used some glamour dust on the center of the flower and diamond glaze on the flower.

I really didn’t want to cover up the papers so tried to put as little on as I could.

I used the Magnolia border and leaf  die and tag die. and the Whimsy Stamps corner die on my card along with the MS branch punch around the flowers.

The flowers have been coated with glamour dust glitter paint.

 

I have a couple of updates for you for Susana’s Custom Art and Cards she has gotten in some more wonderful stuff and just to name a few

Happy Birthday Nathaniel !!

 

Happy Friday !!!!  Well it is a Happy Friday if you don’t have to work tomorrow lol

Today is my youngest grandson’s birthday and I have struggled trying to get a card made for him but just had to stay up and get it done lol

I have used Edwin here and colored him with my copic’s. I have used these gorgeous papers from Maja Design. I am so thrilled that there is a place we can purchase these in the states now. So love there papers.

I have used some dies from Tim Holtz and have used the distressed stains to color the bracket from grunge board. The #3 was hand cut using grunge board and also colored it with the stains and put some crackle paint on it.

The banner is from Whismsy Stamps as well as the new corner die. I used some glamour dust on his wings. 
My little grandson always loves it when I make him things, guess that won’t happen after he gets a little bigger but right now  he thinks everything is awesome lol

Polished Beauty !

This cutie has been colored with my copic’s and spica glitter pens,  I have used glamour dust on her wings.

Fun flock on the trim of her dress, and some diamond glaze on the ladybugs eyes.

Friendship Ties

Hello dear friends !!! I hope this post finds everyone doing well and enjoying the weekend. I have one of the latest release images for Susana’s Custom Art and Cards from the Sylvia Zet  Collection. Isn’t this one a beauty also??? This one is called Friendship Ties !!! I just love her !!

I have made a gift bag with the image this time.  I used this bag for my oldest daughters birthday present. She has been colored with copic’s and Spica Glitter pens.

I have used lots of different dies and punches on this bag and one some of the dies I have used some glamour dust glitter paint.  Also used were some Zva Creative Pearls.

I have altered a wooden box. I have had this box for awhile and when I saw this image I knew I wanted to use the box.

The box was first painted with Viva Decor Inka Gold Paint. This leaves such a wonderful smooth finish on the box.

Here is a top view of the box. I painted the metal corners with Glamour Dust glitter paint. and the white flowers are from Prima.

Good Day Friends !!

Man it has been a couple of weeks since I have been able to post anything !!! After going back to work 2 weeks ago and working these LONG hours I haven’t gotten to play any in my craft room at all. But today I have a card to show you that I made while I was off.

It is a card I made with the latest release from Elizabeth Bell from the Odd’s and Ends Sampler from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards.

Isn’t she so cute???

She is called Sharing is Best. She has been colored with my copic’s and I have used paper from the KaiserCraft pad Chapter One from Susana’s .

The Elegant Scroll is a Memory Box Die and I have used some Prima Flowers on my card.

And I did manage to stay awake long enough last night just to get some coloring in and thought I would do some masking. Sorry just the image these ol eyes just couldn’t make it any longer lol

I colored up New Friends from the Elizabeth Bell collection for SCACD  and I masked it up with the mailbox that came with the Victoria Case collection.

A granddaughter is …..

Well it is Monday !!!! And that means after a whole month of being off from my surgery, I am back to work !!!!!!!!!! Oh I pray this 11 1/2 hour day goes so fast. I know I am going to be whipped by the time I get home. But I do have to say I am so ready to get back to work !!! Never ever thought that would come out of my mouth lol

But I had one project I had made while I was off that I wanted to show you.

I made a frame from my granddaughter, ( I saw this idea on Dena’s Blog) My granddaughter loves my Magnolia stamps and she is always wanted to color them. So I just thought I would make her something for Valentines Day (along with her candy of course lol)

I have colored one of the new Tilda’s with copic’s and Spica glitter pens and I covered the rose also with some smooch pearlized accent ink.

I got the wooden frame at HL and I used some Viva Decor Inka Gold paint on it and after that dried really well I sanded it and then to give it an old age looked I sponged on some distressed vintage photo ink on top of it. I was pleased how this turned out.

I then put glamour dust glitter paint on the flowers to make this sparkle.

She has been colored with my copic’s and  I have used lots of glamour dust on her and the flower. She was such a joy to color.

I have used several Memory Box dies on my card, The border die and the elegant scroll.

The heart pin  and the Prima flowers you can also find at Susana’s shop.

I just couldn’t stop at one on these adorable Spring Floral  Fairy’s so I done a second card with Iris Fairy. Oh don’t she just melt your heart??

She has been colored with my copic’s and Spica Glitter Pens and I have also covered her wings with Smooch pearlized accent ink. Love this stuff.

The pad of paper is from My Minds Eye Stella Rose collection that Susana has.

I also used a laser chipboard from Make it Crafty I have colored it with some glamour dust glitter paint. I so wish you could see the sparkle this adorable butterfly gives.

The Iris I have cut out and put some pop dots on the back to make it stand out.

Hello dear blogging friends !!!!!!!!!

Well I got some play time in today. I figured I had better enjoy the last few days I have off before I return to work Monday. Yelp I went and saw the surgeon yesterday and he has released me to go back to work. I am ready for the most part but will miss having so much free time. It has been a whole month that I have been off since my surgery. But am feeling good and am ready to return, just not the 11 1/2 hours. lol

But I wanted to make a note book for a dear friend of mine that has been here helping me and checking on me all the time. It is so nice to have a nurse around when you need one isn’t it ??

I have used this Nurse Tilda for my card (fitting huh?) she has been colored with my copic’s and spic glitter pens.

I have used one of the Memory Box dies  and added lots of flat pearls to it.

The borders are from Cheery Lynn Designs and I have used twinklets on all the flowers.

I used a magnolia flower and Marianne leaf die

The papers that I have used are some older SU papers. And I used walnut stain distressed ink on all the edges.
