New Grandbaby

My youngest daughter had her ultra sound Thursday and we found out what the baby is. It is a BOY!!!!! He will be named Nathaniel David. He is about 3 days early right now so his due date is the 10th of March. They said he is doing great that everything looked good. My granddaughter wanted a sister so bad and when they said boy she just put her head down and about cried. But we are just happy he is healthy. After loosing 3 they are just so happy it is in good health.
The top right picture is one of the new ways they are doing these it is a 3D image of him. Rachelle let me go with them to the ultra sound and it was just so neat. So now I will have 4 boys and only 2 girls.

I recieved this gorgeous PIF (Pass it Forward) from Linda Wright. Isn't this just awesome.
I got the most gorgeous card some flowers, ribbon and some cute stamped images. I also got a Rachelle Anne Miller stamp. OMG !!!! What a package.

Naughty or Nice?????

Wow the week has went by so fast. Already time for a new challenge at Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog!! This week we have another wonderful sketch by our own Heather. Isn't she good at those sketch's??
I colored Santa Charlie with my copic markers and spica glitter pens. I added some fun flock to his fur. I used my fiskars diamond punch for the side and some of the Prima poinsettia's. The Naughty or Nice is from Inkadinko. My papers are from SU and Basic Grey. I just love Charlie you can get him at Whiff of Joy

Trick or Treat!!!!!

My oldest granddaughter had to have a present for her teacher for there party this Thursday so she asked me to make her a notebook. I used one of the new Tilda with pumpkin that I got at Magnolia a Holic . For all you USA or really anyone else she has the new Halloween stamps in and the Pink collection will be here anyday. So make sure you check it out.

I colored Tilda with my copic markers and spica glitter pens. Cut her out and matted her on a couple of ovals. I used my new Martha Stewart fence punch that my dear friend Risa sent me in the blog candy. I got such a wonderful candy from her. Will show you my cards later on in the week. I stamped the Trick or Treat and the spider and spider web (Inkadinkado) and then glued my oval and image down. I added some prima flowers and spacers and brads to the center of the flowers and then last used my Martha Stewart doily lace punch at the top with some ribbon I had.
I sent Kirstie a picture of it and she said she loved it so hopefully her teacher will too.

Sketch Saturday #21

As always Jo has another gorgeous sketch this week on Sketch Saturday. I just don't know how she keeps coming up with all these gorgeous sketchs. I have used Willow with Umbrella for my sketch card this week.You can find her here at Whiff of Joy Colored in with my copics and spica glitter pens. I used papers from Basic Grey and a Prima flower. Also a name plate but the sentiment doesn't show to well the way I took the picture. Sorry for a bad photo her ladies. Just love the sketch Jo.

A Spoonful of Sugar #21

We have a good week here of sketchs on the challenge blogs !!! This week Spoonful of Sugar has a gorgeous sketch done by Lim here. Gorgeous dear. I have used Charlotte riding on the Reindeer from Whiff of Joy.
I have colored the image in with my copics and spica glitter pens. The brads are from the Christmas section at HL and you can't see it real well here in the picture but I have used a rub on in the bottom corner. I also used my new sizzix corner dies.

Papertake Weekly #13

Katharina has another gorgeous sketch over at Papertake Weekly this week so just had to get this card done. I do love her sketchs. I used Angel Charlotte for my image from Whiff fo Joy. I colored her in with my copics added some white gel pen and some glitter and also used some spica glitter pens too. I added a flower from Prima and used my Martha Stewart doily lace punch and the ribbon I used was one that Claudia had sent me. Thanks for a great sketch this week.

Lili Of the Valley Challenge #4

Boy you all have really put some wonderful cards out for our last challenge I so enjoyed going and looking at your blogs. For this week we have a recipe for you to follow over at Lili Of The Valley Challenge Blog Well here is what you need to do, make a card with the following on it

So here is my card for the challenge I colored my image with my copic markers and spica glitter pens. I used some peel offs also on the card and a swirl from Debbie's Die Cuts. I added some ribbon from SU and a button candy cane I had in my stash.

Update Thank you all for your prayers for my pastor and his family, Jim died this morning 10/15/08 at 3:09 am. The link is still up (from below) Again thank you all for your prayers for him and his family. He is with God now and I hope you will continue to pray for the family





UPDATE They took Jim off the ventilator and everything else Monday. He only had 1% change so they gave him till Monday. He is still breathing on his own today but they said it could be up to 24 hours that people are all different. There is an update on the caring bridge site (Link below). They are just waiting for God to take him home. So I still ask everyone please pray for him and his family. This is just so sad and it breaks my heart. Thanks for all your prayers for him.

I have a friend that was diagnosed a year ago with B-Cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He had been doing good but then he took a turn for the worse and coded this week. Here is the link to his story and we are asking everyone to pray for a miracle. This is my preachers son and we know GOD is watching over him but we still ask for all prayers for him and his family. Whiff of Joy #4 and Cute Card Thursday

Oh I am so excited to see all the wonderful works of art that you all have uploaded to the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog. Aren't these stamps just adorable ??? I so love them all. I am also using this for the Cute Card Thursday for there them is Autumn also.
For this weeks challenge the theme is Autumn Colors so I used Willow with hot chocolate. If you don't have her oh my I would jump over to the Whiff of Joy and get her. She is just gorgeous !!!. I have colored her with my copics and my spica glitter pens.I used the Martha Stewart doily lace punch for the side and the sentiment is a rub on. I used the Quikcut die for the leaves and crochet some flowers and added buttons to the inside with some stickles in the center.. The vine in the background is also a rub on.

Great Mail Day

I had the greatest mail day today. I got my wonderful blog candy from Risa today!!!! Man this was like Christmas !!!! Check out all that she sent me!!!!!! Isn't it wonderful?? And her card she made me WOW !!!!! It is just gorgeous. I was so excited to see this huge box of goodies when I got home. Thank you so much Risa!!!!!!! I just can't thank you enough.


I got my Whiff of Joy stamps today so am off to cut my new rubber!!!! So I can play.

Frame & Tag for Debbie's Die Cuts

I made a frame and tag today for Debbie's Die Cuts The Santa one has been colored with my copics and glitter added in places along with my spica glitter pens, his fur has some fun flock on it, I just love that stuff. I have also added rub ons to the frame too.





The Snow family is colored with the copics also along with the spica glitter pens. I used some white fluid chalk to stamp the snow falling those were from SU and had some snowflakes I had gotten at my local stamp store and added glitter to them. There is also a rub on at the bottom of the tag. I just added some fiber to the top of the tag.
The stamps are from the new release at Sugar Nellie's.

Cupcake Challenge Blog

I saw on Bev's post she found a new Challenge blog so I had to go check it out. So glad I did!! What a awesome sketch they had. Cupcake Craft Challenges!! I used one of my new Halloween Magnolia's and colored him in with my copics and spica glitter pens and gel pen. I mounted him on a oval nestibilites. I used some circle punches and stamps, ribbon from Su and the large one is from Catslife Press.
