Happy Birthday Nathaniel !!

nathanielsm

Happy Friday !!!!  Well it is a Happy Friday if you don’t have to work tomorrow lol

Today is my youngest grandson’s birthday and I have struggled trying to get a card made for him but just had to stay up and get it done lol

I have used Edwin here and colored him with my copic’s. I have used these gorgeous papers from Maja Design. I am so thrilled that there is a place we can purchase these in the states now. So love there papers.

I have used some dies from Tim Holtz and have used the distressed stains to color the bracket from grunge board. The #3 was hand cut using grunge board and also colored it with the stains and put some crackle paint on it.

The banner is from Whismsy Stamps as well as the new corner die. I used some glamour dust on his wings.
My little grandson always loves it when I make him things, guess that won’t happen after he gets a little bigger but right now  he thinks everything is awesome lol

nathaniel

Well for those of you that don’t have to work have a great weekend !!!

Thanks for stopping bye and sending Big Hugs your way ((((((((((())))))))))))))

Sunday Play Time

Good Afternoon!! I trust everyone has had a wonderful Sunday so far. I know I have had myself glued to the chair in my craft room all day. Do you know how long it has been since I was able to do that??? Oh have I had fun today.

I have managed to participate in several challenges this today so to start off with. Here is a card I made with one of the new Sugar Nellie Manga Girls. She is called Dreamy!!! Oh and was she a dream to color. I have used the sketch over at Sugar Nellie's Splitcoaststampers. Zoe has a sketch by Tiets for us to follow. Have you all visited there lately??? Oh Zoe is starting to get things rocking there. So come on over. I have not added much to this card at all, for I so love all the layers that Tiets puts in to her cards and so wanted to show them all off. The papers are from BoBunny.
This card is from one of my new stamps I got from I Brake for Stamps. This is the last one I got from the Little Rascals collection, reminds me so much of my grandson, he is always on his skateboard. He is called Kane!!! I used the sketch over at Sketchy Colors Challenge Blog. I have used some chipboard stars and have added some vintage crackle paint to them. The wording is from my computer and my papers are from BoBunny. I have colored Kane with my copic's.

This card is one of the images from Whiff of Joy from the Mail Collection. I have colored the desk with my copic's and followed the sketch over at Create4 Fun Challenge Blog. My papers I have used are from BoBunny, the card stock is from SU and I have used one of the new MS doily heart border punches. Ribbon and flower is from my stash and I have made this card also for the Allsorts Challenge Blog where you are to distressed your papers and add bow and buttons.

This was just made for the fun of it. It is one of the projects I found on Splitcoaststampers. I had so much fun making this today and I have used one of the Gorjuss Girls from Sugar Nellie. She has been colored with my copic's and I have used the BG papers and SU border punch. And the gorgeous flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The next card I made is images from SU. I have used the sketch over at Sweet Sunday Sketch. I found this blog while blog hopping and I so loved the sketch she has made. The papers are from BoBunny and I have used some Raffia ribbon and the Doily Heart border punch from MS. I also used one of the cuttlebug embossing folders.

And this is just one of the cards from my SU club this last month. The wording is also from SU from the caddy and the butterfly's are in the new mini occasional caddy. Loving this folder too.

Well that has been my play day today. I think I need to see if I can get up lo Sure been stuck in this chair to long but boy did I have a blast. Thanks for stopping bye and seeing me, it so means so much. Sending big Hugs (((((((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))))))))))))

Note Books

These are some chipboard notebooks I made today. I am so addicted to the bind it all and chipboard right now. I just can't get enough. I used some of Maya Roads flowers and flourishes some sizzix flower die cuts and also some of Tim Holtz grungeboard.

More projects

I had some projects I done a few weeks ago and just hadn't uploaded them so figured I would get that done. One is a DVD Tin for a legal notepad and pen. Then another one is a post it note holder. Each of these I cased from Lisa's Blog Then the other is a recipe holder I made out of chipboard. The stamp on the DVD Tin is from PaperBag Studio.

Recipe Books

Well I have sure been having fun making these little books with my bind it all. I made the address books so then moved on to some small recipe books. I just used regular recipe cards and some chipboard and SU patterned paper. And of course my new crackle paint. I just love this paint.

Address Books

I made a Address book today with my Bind it all. This was the first time I have made something like this from scratch but am very pleased with the way it turned out.
I used chipboard to cover the SU paper and used my sizzix to cut out the chipboard flowers. I used my new crackle paint for the chipboard letters. This was really fun to make

Crackle Paint

I got a jar of the Mustard Crakle paint the other day so I thought I would upload my project with it for I know some people are saying theres is to thick but mine turned out good. I just added a thick coating of paint to the chipboard flower and it was so neat to sit and watch it crack. After it was dry I rubbed some vintage distressed ink over the top of the flower. The close up scan isn't that great but the crackle in it sure turned out good
