Happy Birthday Nathaniel !!

 

Happy Friday !!!!  Well it is a Happy Friday if you don’t have to work tomorrow lol

Today is my youngest grandson’s birthday and I have struggled trying to get a card made for him but just had to stay up and get it done lol

I have used Edwin here and colored him with my copic’s. I have used these gorgeous papers from Maja Design. I am so thrilled that there is a place we can purchase these in the states now. So love there papers.

I have used some dies from Tim Holtz and have used the distressed stains to color the bracket from grunge board. The #3 was hand cut using grunge board and also colored it with the stains and put some crackle paint on it.

The banner is from Whismsy Stamps as well as the new corner die. I used some glamour dust on his wings. 
My little grandson always loves it when I make him things, guess that won’t happen after he gets a little bigger but right now  he thinks everything is awesome lol

Friendship Ties

Hello dear friends !!! I hope this post finds everyone doing well and enjoying the weekend. I have one of the latest release images for Susana’s Custom Art and Cards from the Sylvia Zet  Collection. Isn’t this one a beauty also??? This one is called Friendship Ties !!! I just love her !!

I have made a gift bag with the image this time.  I used this bag for my oldest daughters birthday present. She has been colored with copic’s and Spica Glitter pens.

I have used lots of different dies and punches on this bag and one some of the dies I have used some glamour dust glitter paint.  Also used were some Zva Creative Pearls.

Here is a close up of the image. She is such a cutie patootie !!!!!! If you haven’t gotten your new stamps yet man what are you waiting on these are just breath taking. Now for my second project to show you today I have been busting at the seams to show you this one.

This is Daphne’s Tea Party !!! She is from the Sylvia Zet collection for SCACD

Colored with Copic’s and spica glitter pen and lots of Glamour dust.

I have altered a wooden box. I have had this box for awhile and when I saw this image I knew I wanted to use the box.

The box was first painted with Viva Decor Inka Gold Paint. This leaves such a wonderful smooth finish on the box.

Here is a top view of the box. I painted the metal corners with Glamour Dust glitter paint. and the white flowers are from Prima.

Welcome

Well hello all

I am back with another little project I have done. It is so nice to be able to just play and not go to work lol Not for much longer though lol

Today I have altered a puzzle piece from a floor puzzle and have used this adorable image called Designing Dreams from the Elizabeth Bell Collection called Odds and End Sampler

for Susana’s Custom Art and Cards.

Sorry the picture isn’t so great and a bit crooked, but it was hard to get a picture as it is so big lol I thought it would make a cute door hanger.

The image has been colored with my copic’s and I have used smooch pearlized accent ink on her shirt.

Today I would like to show you a project I made.  I made a wooden tissue box from the Carmen Medlin  collection. I so love altering things and I had made this for my friend.

Copic’s and Spica Glitter Pens and some gel pens were used to color my images.

I used lots of glamour dust and glamour dust glitter paint on all the flowers.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts 

MS branch punch and a LEM leaf punch.

Lace was from my stash.

The charm, brads and brad holders were sent to me by one of my dear sweet friends thanks so much hon.

Some play time !!

Good Day dear friends !!! I hope everyone’s week is going well. It is almost the weekend for all the hard working people !!!

As for me, well I am still off work . Yes I went and seen the surgeon  yesterday and he is not letting me return to work  yet. I go back for another follow up in a couple of weeks

It is nice to be off work but not without a paycheck coming in. Plus I am really starting to get bored lol Yelp you read that right. i was sort of ready to go back to work. Maybe just not the long hours lol

But today I wanted to show you a couple of things I have made over the last few days that I finally finished.

First up here is a birthday card for my brother. I am not very good doing guy cards so no flowers here lol. But I have used Edwin here from Magnolia. He has been colored with my copic’s and  the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.  I have used a label from Spellbinders and some brads with spacers in the corner.

These gorgeous papers are from Maja Design that was from the Crea Shop. Oh how I wish we could get these papers here in the states !!!!!!!!

Next I finally finished a bag I needed to put a gift in and I used these adorable Hanglar images. Papers are from K&Co and I used Spellbinder corner die, Cheery Lynn Designs for the doily and a die from Tim Holtz for the bracket.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have used a Magnolia leaf die and a MS branch punch. The lace was from my stash and I distressed the edges of the papers with distressed inks.  And the border punch I used is from SU.

I also used a Viva Decor Pearl Pen to make some  flat pearls on the corner dies. Susana has lots of Viva Decor Products in her store and am so loving playing with all these products.

Well that is it for me for today. I need to try to go do some cleaning and then hope to get some more play time in.

It’s a Boy

Well I am getting better here !! 2 days now !! I am starting to get around much better now so I just couldn’t help but get some play time in.

Today I am showing you a card I made for a dear friend who is expecting there first child. I needed a card to go with there gift so I have used this adorable little boy image from Sugar Nellie.

The image has been colored with my copic’s.  And I have used some gorgeous paper from Maja Design that was from the Crea Shop.  A very sweet dear friend sent me this paper and I so love it. I wish we could get this here in the US. This paper is just gorgeous !!!

I used some tile letters and the sentiment is from Lily Of The Valley. The clock die is from Tim Holtz. And the bottle charm and raffia ribbon is from my stash.

I hope to get some more play time while I am off I go back to the Dr next week so hopefully I will return to work after the first of the year.

Summer “Lovely Lilies”

Hello dear friends !!

Well it is back to work today, but so had a lovely 4 days off. I so enjoyed the holidays and I got some play time in.

I wanted to show you a CAS card I made while I was off. This is one of the new images from Lily Of The Valley. This is Summer. Isn’t she a cutie??

I colored her with my copic’s  and used some Spica Glitter Pens on her.  The papers I have used today are from K&Co.

The sentiment I have used is also from Lily Of The Valley using a die from Go Kreate.

The fence is from Magnolia and the flower was made with one of my new dies I got while shopping Saturday. It is the Tim Holtz rosette die, I am really loving this die.

This is Order Up!! So reminds me of my home towns restaurant when I was young . She has been colored with my copic’s and the papers are from Free Bird Blush and Delight pad. And as I have always said and will continue to say Susana has the most selection of paper pads there is. And there are some on sale so get them while they last.

I used some Diamond Glaze on the shake and her eyes. Isn’t she just a doll ???

I got to go shopping yesterday with my daughter and just couldn’t leave town without going to a craft store and I got me a couple new dies from Tim Holtz. Love these.

All my pages have been distressed with Walnut distressed ink and I have used a border punch from MS.

The sentiment is just a sticker from my stash.

3 Wishes !!

Hello dear friends !!! Well I finally got me some play time last night and finished up a card today !! I have to say it really felt good just to sit and play for awhile. Sure have missed it.

This is 3 Wishes isn’t she just precious ?? I so love this line of stamps, They are so easy to color and such a joy to play with. She has  been colored with my copic’s. I have used some diamond glaze on this cutie’s eyes and the Hologram Glitter Pen (love this so 3d) Then some glamour dust on the stars.

Shabby Chic

It’s Friday and we have a new challenge up over at Just Magnolia and Hanglar Challenge Blog. And we would like to see you make something in Shabby Chic.

I have used Tilda here and she has been colored with my copic’s and have added some glamour dust to her wings and flowers. My papers are from Tim Holtz and I have distressed them with some white paint. The flourish is from Bosskuts and I have added some flat pearls to my card.

This gorgeous lace is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts along with the Nellie Snellen leaf punch.
