I'm Back

I'm back!!!!!!!! Yes I know you probably didn't miss me lol But seriously I want to thank everyone for all there prayers and emails about my dear brother. It has been a very trying time and we still have some more waiting to find out more from the tests but right now he is doing pretty good, just tired. I had not been able to craft any at all, it was like my mojo just got up and walked away but my mind was just not on it and I want to thank Karen from Sugar Nellie, for being so patient with me this week, you are a doll dear. And a big thank you to Bev for taking care of the WOJ Challenge Blog for me while I was gone. You all are just the greatest.
Okay now onto a couple of cards I made today.
I made this card for Friday Sketchers and it is one of the new releases of Sugar Nellie by Mary Hall, He is called Wrapped Up Boy. I have colored him with my copic's and used some glamour dust on the snowflakes and some fun flock for the fur on his coat.
My papers are from BG and I have used one of the MS border punches. Wording is from TAC and I have used some SU punches for it. The snowflakes are a MS punch and then some snowflake brads from HL.
This card I used one of the Gorjuss Girls from Sugar Nellie. She is also colored with my copics and I used papers from BoBunny. The sketch I used is from the Sugar Bowl and made by the talented Marlene, the please add was to add lace. My wording is from SU as well as punches from them. The doily heart border is from MS.

It's Monday!!!!!!!

And I got home early today!!!!!!! I was so excited to get off work early today I had to come home and have a little play time. My frames for the seats I make didn't make it in today so I worked on a different line and got out early!! I was so loving it lol I managed to get home before it was dark lol
So I came home and made a couple of cards for a couple of challenges and it felt so good to get them done the same day they were posted instead of having to wait for the weekend to play.
My first card here is for The Pink Elephant, I have used one of the Magnolia snowmen and have used a few copic's on him and added some glamour dust. My papers are from Studio 8 and the snowflake is a MS punch along with the MS snowflake border. The sentiment is also from Magnolia.
My second card today is for Mojo Monday!!! I so love these sketch's for it makes me think of the stamps I use to use when I first started stamping. So I dug out a couple of my oldie but goodie stamps from I Brake for Stamps. I have used papers from Anna Griffith and my EK border punch. The ribbon was from my stash. I colored the image with my copic's and added some pop dots behind it.

Well I hope you all had a great day I know I did getting out of work early. Sending big Hugs!!!

Doing the Sugar Bowl +

How are you all doing this weekend??? Fine I do hope, I DID have to work Saturday so not much playing time for me but did manage to do a couple of challenges.

This first one is for the Sugar Bowl!!! A lovely sketch this week with the please include option of distressing!!! I have used one of the new digital images from Sugar Nellie this one is called Dream Cather. Isn't she adorable??? I have colored her with my copic's and my papers are from MME. I have distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz distressing tool and added some distressing ink to the edges. This sketch was just gorgeous and so I didn't want to cover up any of it so I left this really simple.

This is another digital image from Sugar Nellie, this image is Boy and Girl Fairy. It is so nice to get these digital images from Sugar Nellie for I don't have to wait at all to get them. I live in the US so it takes me about a week to get my stamps this was just awesome to have them right away. I have used on my card the Spiral punch from SU, my retro flower punches and have added some touches from my new stamps from Stempelglede as well as in the corner. The wording is a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp. The sketch I used on this card is from Sketch Saturday so I will be entering it there and also the theme at the Pink Elephant is Birthday so this fits in there also. This is my first time joining in at the Pink Elephant. I don't know why but am going to have to keep this one in mind too.

Now here is a sneak peak at one of the new images from Mary Hall that will be released soon at Sugar Nellie, These are some of her Winter kids, Aren't they cute out in the snow?? I have colored them with my copic's and have used some poplar white flower soft for the snow. I just love this flower soft. The wording is from Verve. And the sketch I have followed here is from Create 4 fun, this week.

Well this is all my fun I got to do this weekend, The rest of my time was spent in the factory working, now I need to get my house work done. I know I hate it too lol Have a wonderful week and big hugs coming at you!!

First Sled Ride

Oh I got an email earlier and opened it up and it was a video from my daughters phone where at the moment I thought it was my granddaughter sledding at her other grandma's house. Well when I got to the end of the video I laughed till I cried. It was my 10 month old grandson lol OMG it is so funny to see him on a sled. She said he never ever changed the expression on his face. I just couldn't stop laughing just had to share lol

Three More for the Weekend!!!

Well I am back again with the last of my weekend card making projects. I am running a little late posting them this weekend. I received my Digi images from my DT at Sugar Nellie and really had a fun play time with them.
Here I have used Webb Knitter from Sugar Nellie, isn't she adorable??? SHe has been colored with my copic's and I have used papers from K&Co. I used some glamour dust on the knitting and used my retro punches for my flowers along with a brad and spacer in the center. The leave and branch is a punch from MS. I used the sentiment from TAC and the punches for the wording are from SU. I have used the beautiful sketch for my card for Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge.

This one is Fairy #1 from the Digi images at Sugar Nellie. I didn't get a very good pic of this one, the bling at the top kept showing off a glare. Maybe tomorrow I can get a better pic. She has been colored with my copic's as always lol And I have used one of my new MS border punches. I added some bling at the top of the image and the sentiment is from Verve and the punches for it are from SU along with the papers.. This card I made for the sketch at Sketch Saturday.

Now look at this cutie!!!! This is Dutch Girl!! Another one of the digi images from Sugar Nellie. See what you all are missing if you haven't gotten yours yet??? And what I love the best is I am in the US and I didn't have to wait on them. These are available to get right away at purchase.
She has been colored with my copic's again , and my papers are from SU along with the wording punches. The wording is from Verve. And I added the retro flowers and L-em branch and MS leaf punches. This card has been made for the challenge at Create 4 Fun.

Well this is the end of my fun this weekend, need to go and get things ready for work in the am, 3 am comes to soon for me. Thanks so much for stopping bye and thanks so much for the wonderful comments and emails you have sent me. Hugs Gunilla!!!! Sending Cyber hugs!!!!

Snowflakes are falling!!!!

Good Morning all!!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!!! We have some snow here in the US but not as much as we normally get but I am sure it is coming, I know these temperatures are not what I want lol We are in the teens right now and are suppose to go to single digits the first of the week. So me I have been staying in all weekend lol
I have a couple of cards done so far this morning that I wanted to get posted. The first one is for Mojo Monday and I have used one of the soon to be released Mary Hall images from Sugar Nellie. This little girl is having a blast in the snow lol I have colored her with my copic's and my papers are from BoBunny.
Now my sentiment is from Verve but if you all remember back in 08 where I had my hand surgery you all know I don't have much grip or use with it, it pretty much does what it wants too lol So that is the reason for my sentiment being so crooked. I had the block in my hand ready to stamp it and it just fell on the paper. I was so steaming mad but hey I wasn't starting all over!!! So it is a little crooked!!! So sorry. I have used the MS snowflake border punch also and some ribbon from BoBunny
This card is another one of the soon to be released images from Mary Hall at Sugar Nellie, She is colored with my copics and I have used some white flower soft for the snow. My papers are from Cosmo Cricket and I have used some raffia ribbon. The sentiment is from Verve also. I am using this card for the challenge over at Friday Sketchers. And I am also entering this at the Copic Color Challenge for the copic colors Goo, RV21and B32

So hope you are staying warm. Thanks for stopping bye and seeing me I so appreciate it and big hugs going out to you.
