Oh it has been so long !!!

Hello dear friends !!! Man it seems like ages since I have been on !!! My poor ol blog has been neglected so bad !

I am still working lots of hours but I finally got a weekend off and was so ready for it. My plan is to get all my work done today so I can just sit and enjoy the day Sunday.

Besides working there has been so much going on in my life with my family it is unreal !!

Below is a picture of my dad’s brothers and sisters this was taken in 2005. My dad passed away in 1988 so he is the only one missing here but Uncle Boob has been ill and in a nursing home since Feb. He is doing therapy and we are hoping to get him home soon he is walking with a walker now so he is getting better but his wife Aunt Rosie passed away April 18th very unexpectedly. She was a rock so this was such a shock to us all !!!! She was a sweetheart that was for sure. So we had her funeral and this  Monday Uncle Boob’s TWIN sister Aunt Marge passed away.  So it has been a trying time here. Aunt Marge and Uncle Boob was 83 the 27th of April.

The evening of the day we buried Aunt Rosie my grandson was going home that night and he took the country roads home which was shorter. And this stupid deer came out of the  woods and ran right into the drivers side of Dyllon’s door. The deer’s head busted his drivers side window out and got him in the face and all the glass cut his face up and got in his eye. He is doing okay but the jeep got a number done to it. The body of the deer went back and got both doors and the rear quarter panel. But he is okay now and that is great. He just misses his vehicle lol

Then to top it off we found out my oldest daughter had cervical cancer. She has had her surgery and is doing good. They are 97% they got it all but she will go every 3 months to have a check up to make sure it hasn’t came back.
So needless to say my life has been pretty crazy !!!

I have not been in my craft room for over a month and I had so many projects half done that had been there for months. So last night I decided to add the flowers to them and let them be lol It was great to get to play but the ol mojo just isn’t there anymore. I still have lots of projects laying there to be finished so maybe one day I can get them done. Some are for my granddaughters birthday which is in June and another one the 28th of May !!! Don’t know if they will get done or not lol

But here is a card I had done using a Krista Smith image. It has been so long ago I could not tell you what paper pad this is from but I do know it came from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards . I buy all my paper from her and I used some glamour dust glitter paint on the flowers. I saw where Krista has a challenge for may flowers so after many many months I am going to enter this there at Saturated Canary Challenge Blog.

Next I added some flowers to this project to finish it up. A picture frame with Tilda. I got some gorgeous bling from a dear friend for my birthday and I used it on the frame. The papers are some old MME papers again Glamour dust glitter paint was used on the flowers.

So sorry I don’t remember much about these 2 projects but it has been so long since I had started them.

Well I have so much housework to get caught up on and outside work. I am going to get it all done today so I can take tomorrow to do nothing.

I do hope everyone is doing well and hopefully one day I can get back into the groove of crafting again. But for now just some old projects that had been laying around unfinished lol

Classic Eyes

 

Met Classic Eyes !!! She is one of the newest releases from the collection of Susana loves stamps from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards. Don’t you just love the eyes???

I have used some diamond glaze on the eyes to give them a pop. She has been colored with copic’s and spica glitter pens.

The paper is from MME at Susana’s and the flower is a Prima Bristol Bloom . I used a Memory Box Die bird cage.

The metal charms are from my stash.

Polished Beauty !

I am back with another one of these adorable cute images from Victoria Case for Susana’s Custom Art and Cards.

I saw this special folded card on the Ideas to Inspire blog and just had to give it a try.

This cutie has been colored with my copic’s and spica glitter pens,  I have used glamour dust on her wings.

Fun flock on the trim of her dress, and some diamond glaze on the ladybugs eyes.

Papers are from MME Stella Rose pad from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards

Chipboard corners from Make it crafty was colored with some glamour dust glitter paint.

Spring Fairy’s

Hello dear friends !!! I hope this post finds you all well !!

Over at Follow Your Heart  we are featuring the very talented Carmen Medlin today. The Design team is showing you all the new Spring Floral Fairy’s.

This adorable cutie is  Pansella  Fairy !!

She has been colored with my copic’s and  I have used lots of glamour dust on her and the flower. She was such a joy to color.

I have used several Memory Box dies on my card, The border die and the elegant scroll.

The papers are from Bo Bunny’s Garden Girl pad, which is on sale right now at Susana’s.

The heart pin  and the Prima flowers you can also find at Susana’s shop.

I just couldn’t stop at one on these adorable Spring Floral  Fairy’s so I done a second card with Iris Fairy. Oh don’t she just melt your heart??

She has been colored with my copic’s and Spica Glitter Pens and I have also covered her wings with Smooch pearlized accent ink. Love this stuff.

The pad of paper is from My Minds Eye Stella Rose collection that Susana has.

I also used a laser chipboard from Make it Crafty I have colored it with some glamour dust glitter paint. I so wish you could see the sparkle this adorable butterfly gives.

The Iris I have cut out and put some pop dots on the back to make it stand out.

Happy Thursday dear friends !!

Today is a new challenge over at Lily Of The Valley Challenge Blog and today our theme is Button it !!!

We would like to see buttons on your project.

Today I am using All Wrapped up from Lily Of The Valley. I have had prisma pencils forever and thought I would finally try it again. I am not real pleased with how it turned out but it is better than my other try's lol  I added some glamour dust to her glove warmer and some twinklets for snow.

The papers are from MME  Lost and Found Christmas from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards. And I used some glamour dust glitter paint on a Mulberry Street flower from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards.

The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the buttons are from my stash.

The bottom corner piece is a laser cut out from Make it Crafty that I got from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards also. I am telling you I could spend my whole paycheck at her store lol

She has such wonderful things for your cards.

Three Little Angels !!

Today I would like to show you Three Little Angels !! Oh they are precious aren’t they?
They have been colored with my copics and the sentiment is also from Lily Of The Valley from the Christmas Greetings set.

I used some papers from MME that I got at Susana’s Custom Art and Cards and have distressed them with my distress it all and sponged with distressed ink.

Flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts and I used a spellbinder die and a Magnolia flourish die.

The lace I got a Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Advent Calendar

Hello dear friends.

I was able to get a few more of the new release done over the weekend from Lily Of The Valley and thought I would show you what I made.

I used the new Advent Calendar. Oh I just love this one.  I colored it with my copics and used some papers from MME. The sentiment is also from Lily Of The Valley. The corner punch is a die from Spellbinders and the doily is a die from Marianne Designs.  I used some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts as well as the lace and the leaf is from Nellie Snellen, the branch punch is from MS. Ribbon is from SU

Today's the Day!!!

Yes today is the day !!! The new release for Lily Of The Valley is now here and soon these adorable Christmas Cuties will be right in your hands.

Today I am using Toboggan for Two. Oh it looks like they are having a blast.

I have colored them with my copic’s and used some glamour dust on my image. The sentiment is also from Lily Of The Valley from the Christmas Circular Sentiments .  The large snowflake is a die from Whimsy Stamps I just love this snowflake so much detail. and then I added a snowflake brad in the center.

I used a MS snowflake border punch and the ribbon was from my stash. My paper is from MME.

Lots Of Letters

Happy Saturday dear friends !!!

Been a long week for me here. Still working long hours and after work picking and canning green beans from the garden. Lots of work but boy will they taste good this winter.

I so hope you have enjoyed all the sneak peaks this week and from all the comments I was able to read I know you all love them as much as we do. Gorgeous !!!!!!!

Today I am showing you Lots of Letters. Aren’t they just darling mailing there letters to Santa??

I have colored my image with copics and used some papers from MME. I added some glamour dust to my image and have used the snowflake border punch from MS.

I have a card for the new challenge over at Just Magnolia and Hanglar Challenge Blog. My dear teamie Michelle has picked the challenge of Paper Piecing.

Oh this was so much fun I really enjoyed doing this , it had been some time since I had done this.

I have chosen this adorable Hanglar image that I got from a very dear sweet friend. I have used papers from MME on her outfit and clothes and the rest was colored in with my copic’s. I used some stamps from Inkadinkado for the wording in the corners and I also used a bosskut flourish. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts  and the ribbon I used was just from my stash.

I do hope you come and join us for our new challenge. I am telling  you this was a blast to do so I know you are going to enjoy the challenge as much as I did.

Wherever your dreams

Well it’s Monday and that means most of us are back to work. The weekends just fly don’t they?

Today I have another sneak peak for you from Lily Of The Valley , these dolls are going to be released in just another  day !!! I know you all are as excited as I am for these cuties are so adorable.

Today I am showing you Maisie Sitting Pretty!! Precious isn’t she?? She has been colored with my copic’s and these papers are from MME.

I  used the SU ticket punch and added some brads to the corner of my image and   I have also used one of the newer sentiments from Lily Of The Valley  from the A5 Verses.

Ribbon is some seam binding I got over at Really Reasonable Ribbon and I just topped it with a button and I have added some flat pearls and a bumble bee bling from BG.

I am entering this into The Sweet Stop Challenge for there lovely sketch.

 

Here is an image I didn’t get posted on my blog but did over at the Lily Of The Valley Inspiration Blog. This is Emma called Shoes, Shoes, Shoes. Now I don’t know about you all but I LOVE shoes. So I think this image just tops what probably most of us think??

I have used some BG papers , flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts along with the metal corner. I have used some flat pearls and ribbon from my stash.

Happy Sunday !!! Oh it is getting so close for these adorable new girlie images to be released. I am so happy today to show you Emma with Birthday Presents. Oh I tell you I love all of this release so much there is no way I could pick a favorite out of this release. They are all just adorable.

Emma has been colored with my copic’s and I have used some papers from MME. The ribbon and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have also added a photo corner from Spellbinders and the leaf punch is from Nellie Snellen. I have added some flat pearls to the card and this lovely sentiment is also from Lily Of The Valley from the Mixed Circular Collection.

I am entering this into Paper Sundaes Challenge where the challenge is Girly Girl !!!

I also have a coaster I made on a tile. I used some Ranger Alcohol Inks, Tissue papers and several mediums to seal the coaster. This is one of the newer images from Bildmalarna Challenge Blog where the challenge is Anything Goes. The technique I used was from one of Nancy Curry’s books.

A Sketch By Jacque

Woooo Hoooo !!! It’s Friday and that means a new challenge is up at Just Magnolia and Hanglar Challenge Blog.

We have a wonderful sketch for you today by my dear teamie Jacque and she would also love to see lots of flowers on your project.

I have used this adorable Hanglar image and colored her in with my copic’s. These papers (oh I love this pad) is from MME. I have used some flat pearls on my card and some beautiful ribbon and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. Oh look at that new Wild Roses that are available. GORGEOUS !!!

I have used the leaf punch from Nellie Snellen on my card an a flowers center on the center of my ribbon.

Altered Box

First off I want to say so sorry about these bad photo’s.  I have tried every which way to photograph this box and nothing is helping. The light outside is so dark due to the rain, but I do hope you can see somewhat of what I have done.

 

This is a wooden box I bought at Michaels a long time ago and have been working on this off and on for my granddaughter for her birthday and since it was about time for her birthday I figured I better get it done lol

I adhered some papers from MME to the box and distressed them with Walnut Ink. I then used some Crackle Paint for the top edge. This wanted to flake off so I sealed it with some sealer to keep it on. I used this cute Tilda image that was colored with my copics and some gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon is some ribbon from The Ribbon Girl and I made a double tailed bow I learnt from Becca over at Amazing Paper Grace. She is the bow queen. I added some lace that I got from Joann’s and you can see a better pic of that below in one of the pictures.

For a Great Friend

Happy Good Friday everyone !!! If I don’t get back on this weekend I would like to go ahead and Wish You all a Happy Easter !!!

 

I worked on a couple of cards over the last few days and so wanted to get them posted. First up I have this gorgeous New Hanglar image from the Sailor Kit. I am so excited to be able to order these now.  I have colored my image with Copic’s and have used papers from MME. The doily is from Cheery Lynn Designs and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps along with the die I used to cut it out.  Flowers well let me tell you I was doing some cleaning in my craft room and found this box with all kinds of flowers in them that I forgot I had so I am sure these are some that came from like Wal-Mart. The leaf is a punch from Nellie Snellen . Ribbon is from my stash but I used a wonderful tutorial from the talented Becca from Amazing Paper Grace.
I have used the sketch from Party Time Tuesdays Challenge Blog and I also made this card for the challenge over at PaperTake Weekly where the theme is Spots and Stripes. Now you can see my stripes but the dots are sort of hard to see but they are the paper that I cut my doily die from.

 

Next I have used the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl and one of the Simply Sassy’s from Sugar Nellie. A dear sweet friend stamped me a few of these images she I don’t get these in my DT kit. I have colored her with my copic’s and used some brads and spacers from my stash. The papers I used are from The Paper Studio. The ribbon I braided. It didn't’ turn out as well as I wanted it to but you do the best you can I guess. lol Again flowers are from my stash that I found and I also used  my new MS punch that I got from winning the birthday candy over at Norma’s Blog.   I am also going to enter this into The Ribbon Girl Challenge where the theme is a color challenge this week.  I really wish my ribbon braid would of turned out like I wanted it to but I am going to have to figure a way to made some ends on them so I can wrap them behind without it being bulky.

Tissues!!!!!!!

Hello !!! How is everyone doing this first of the week??? I  so hope my job is going to be better today !!! Fingers crossed. I know the hours are long but I can deal with that as long as my machines run lol

Today I have a couple of Tissue Box's that one of the girls at work asked me to make for her. She needed one for the living room and one for the kitchen. So this is what I have came up with. The one I am showing you today is for the kitchen (as you can tell ) lol I have used this cute Tilda . My papers are from MME. I used some lace I had and ran some SU ribbon through it. Added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and I used the Lem leaf punch along with the MS branch.  I had some kitchen charms in my stash so I added one to the front.

Here is a picture of the top of the box and I have used some more Wild Orchid Crafts  flowers and  I used one of the Spellbinder Labels for the sentiment which is also from Magnolia.

Bildmalarna Stamp Kit

Oh what a rainy day we are having here. It is so dark and gloomy.
I got my stamp kit from Bildmalarna this week and had been dying to play with them. So late last night I colored a few of them and made a couple cards today.

My first card is from the kit and I have colored her with my copic’s.  Papers are from MME and I have used some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The leaf and branch die are from MS and I used some brads and spacers on my card. The punch around the page is from MS I just love this one. I am entering this card in the following challenges.
