Good Day !!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday here in the USA. I so enjoyed being off work and got some play time in.

I hope this post will go off like it is suppose to, I am having the probe put in today so after 48 hours I can take my medicine again till the week before surgery.

Today I have a couple of candy boxes to show you.  This first one I have made for my team leader at work, he loves candy so I figured this cutie girl Santa he will get a kick out of.

Hello Everyone!!! I would like to thank you for stopping bye today. I feel like I haven’t posted forever. I had to work the weekend and it just never left me much time to finish my cards but I finally got them done and thought I would share them with you.

First I have this adorable little elf here new from Sugar Nellie’s . Isn’t he adorable??? I know you all have had to of ordered yours already, they are just to cute!! And man have you seen Sugar Nellie’s Blog?? Some very exciting things are coming and you sure don’t want to miss them.

I made this card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge Blog. There is a gorgeous sketch over there.  So do hope you will join in, there is always wonderful prizes to be won.

Now here is a Christmas Chipboard Book I have been working on forever!!! I really wanted this to be CAS so there really isn’t much to it. I covered the PEACE Book with BG papers from last year.  I added a flower to the front and some Pearl Pen to some of the letters. This is the front of the book held together with Ribbon.

 

On one of the inside pages I added Gingerbread from Sugar Nellie I used some flower soft for her fur and added some pearl pen around the inside of the A. To the left it is a rub on that says Family Traditions.

 

The next page is Mister and Miss Elf. Aren’t they the cutest?? I just added a rub on to the left that says Jingle all the way.

Now the last page is Santa in Chimney. I added a few rub ones that says Dear Santa and Presents with a present. This is sort of hard to see in the pictures.

Well sorry for the bad pictures but it is sort of getting dark here. I can’t never get a good picture right now due to getting home so late. But do hope you can make most of it out.

Birthday Wishes!

Well the weekend is just about over isn’t it?? I have been gone most of my weekend and so hate that.  But had things I had to do so my crafting time got neglected so much this weekend. But I did manage to get one card done for 3 challenges.
There is a lovely sketch over at Kenny K’s Challenge Blog so I used the cute Movie Star image. I just love the eyes on his images. I am also using the card for the Create4fun Challenge blog as there challenge this week is to make a Birthday Card and for Stamp with Fun there theme is to make a card for a Girl.

Something Old Something New

Evening All!!!!!! I do hope your week is going good so far. Mine has been busy busy busy!! My grandson started this first day of school here today. I know that must of been hard to start a new school. But he seemed to do okay. He is a sophomore this year. After working all day I had to go back to town and get all his supplies from the list they sent home!!! Man I forgot how expensive this all was lol

 

Anyway I finally got a couple cards done that I had been working on for a couple days. My first one is for the Sugar Bowl. There is a wonderful sketch by Marlene and I must say it was quite challenging lol The theme to go along with the sketch is Something Old Something New. SO my paper from Daisy D’s is really old lol and I have used one of my new images from Sugar Nellie.  Hope you all are joining in the challenge for there are some awesome prizes being given to one lucky person.

Happy Sunday to everyone!!! I hope everyone has had a nice weekend. I know I didn’t get much done yesterday, the first week back from vacation was sure a killer so it took me all day yesterday to get my house work done lol Stop and Start Stop and Start lol

But this morning I got up extra early so I could get back on track with my work hours (3am) so I done some crafting. I had my images already colored so just had to make the cards up. I decided to join a few challenges with my images.
First up here I have a gorgeous Ballerina Tilda. I used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday  I had received a couple of new Magnolia’s the other day and just had to use this one right away.

Now for my second card I done I used this adorable Hanglar image and for the Lovely Hanglar Challenge Blog. The theme this week is Lace and I had this gorgeous lace with purple roses in the center that was just perfect.  I am also entering this into the Create4Fun Challenge Blog, where the challenge there is to use Flowers on your card. I distressed the edges of my paper with the Zutter distress it all and added some lavender stickles to the edges.  I also used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge Blog

Well that is it for me this weekend. Our County Fair starts today and my brother will be playing later this afternoon so some friends and I are going to be going and listen to them. He sings a few  songs  called “Mothers Bible” and “Memories”  I know he will be singing these today, and today would of been our Mothers Birthday so I know this will hit really hard.  I am so proud of him they have there own CD out now. (Pictured Below) My brother is the one on the left playing the big bass and he also plays guitar.  Have a great day everyone

Well it is Sunday and that is sad for me for tomorrow I have to return to work. It has been so nice being off for 9 days. Just thinking about going back to that hot factory makes me ill lol but got to pay the bills lol

Then this card I made for a new challenge blog I found Lovely Hanglar. I only have a few hanglars but they are so cute I just had to join in. The theme there was glitter and boy did I get a bit carried away lol  I used the distress it all from Zutter and done my edges and I glittered the edges with stickles, and I also put glitter on my flowers and butterfly. Then I used my spica glitter pens on my images in several places so I do believe I got the glitter covered lol. I also used the sketch over at Create 4 fun Challenge Blog .

Hello everyone!! I finally got my deck stained so the rest of my vacation I plan on doing some playing lol

So to start out I made this card for Kenny K’s Challenge Blog where the theme is Pastels.
