Love and Romance!!!!!!!

Over at the Sugar Bowl this week for challenge #3 it is Love and Romance. Well I decided to make this cute little card holder that I found on Julie's site. I thought it was so adorable and my daughter has been having me make her cards to hand out this year so thought it would be the perfect way to hold them. I used the Leanne Ellis image from Sugar Nellie that my dear friend Jacqui sent me (thank you dear friend) I colored her with my copics, spica glitter pens and white gel marker. I used the bosskut flourish and the friskars heart border punch. Prima flowers and MS branch punch, brads, spacers and ribbon from my stash and the beautiful BG Bittersweet paper. I really enjoyed this project thanks Julie for such great instructions. Thanks for looking HUGS

Here is a close up of the box purse

This is what the inside looks like.

And I added some paper to the back also.

Shout Out To SHEETLOAD

Have you all seen this site??? I found it most recently and when the January issue came out I sure downloaded it. This is one awesome monthly online magazine. They have a gorgeous sketch in there and also so much inspiration and some fab tips. So go on over and check out January's issue !!!!!! You won't regret it

Look What I done MOM!!!!!

My oldest granddaughter Kirstie is always bringing her papers home from Kindergarten to mommy for her to see what she has done. She always just sticks them on the fridge with a magnet so I thought I would use one of the large clothespins I had so she could decorate her work a little more fancier. I used the Basic Grey paper Boxer (My favorite) and glued it to the clothespin, I sanded the edges and used some walnut distressed ink around the edges. I colored Tilda with my copics and then used some diamond glaze over all of her I then mounted her on the clothespin with pop dots. I then adhered an prima flower with brad and spacers to the middle and punched out some leaves and glued that to the clothespin. I then computer generated a saying to hang off of the tiny clothespin I had glued on. So I hope Kirstie will like her school projects held with this.

Here is a close up of the clothespin

I got an Award!!!!!

I received this award from my dear friend Bev!!!! She is one sweet lady and I am so lucky to have her as a friend. Thank you my dear friend!!!

and the rules to accepting my award are as follows:
A) first list 10 honest things about yourself - and make it interesting, even if you have to dig deep!
B) Pass the award on to 7 bloggers that you feel embody the spirit of the Honest Scrap.
Okay...so the 10 HONEST things about me are:
1. I say what I feel !!! Sometimes it gets me into hot water but hey it is better than lieing to someone.

Coasters!

Well after seeing the coasters that Michelle made on her blog I just had to dig mine out and give it a try. It has been so long since I had done any. The first one I done is a Hanglar image, the corner stamps are unknown. I stamped this with stazon and heat set it, colored it with my all purpose inks (been a long time since I used these) I outlined the edges with a gold leafing pen and then sprayed several coats of Acrylic sealer on them each drying in between. I then glued some felt on the back to protect the furniture.

This one is a Sugar Nellie image by the talented Elizabeth Bell, now this time I tried what Michelle done to her coaster I used my prisma pencils on them. This was okay but I I think I will stick to the all purpose inks, went so much faster lol Thanks for looking and have a great day, Hugs!!!

Lili Of The Valley

We are back in full swing again!!!! Our next challenge for you at Lili Of The Valley is a sketch by ME lol
For my card I didn't have any paw print paper so I just made my own with a stamp and distressed the edges of the paper with vintage distressed ink. I used the nestibilites to cut the circles out and adhered my cute adorable Percy I colred him with my copics and spica glitter pens, I outlined him with my black spica pen so it would breake the browns up from the background.
I used an hand written journaling and used several of the SU punches to mount and have it attached with a pop dot. The ribbon is from Michaels I believe.
Hope to see you over at the challenge blog

Here is this weeks sketch so come on over and join us, we would love to see your gorgeous creations with these adorable images.
