Happy Sunday to everyone!!! I hope everyone has had a nice weekend. I know I didn’t get much done yesterday, the first week back from vacation was sure a killer so it took me all day yesterday to get my house work done lol Stop and Start Stop and Start lol
But this morning I got up extra early so I could get back on track with my work hours (3am) so I done some crafting. I had my images already colored so just had to make the cards up. I decided to join a few challenges with my images.
First up here I have a gorgeous Ballerina Tilda. I used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday I had received a couple of new Magnolia’s the other day and just had to use this one right away.

Now for my second card I done I used this adorable Hanglar image and for the Lovely Hanglar Challenge Blog. The theme this week is Lace and I had this gorgeous lace with purple roses in the center that was just perfect. I am also entering this into the Create4Fun Challenge Blog, where the challenge there is to use Flowers on your card. I distressed the edges of my paper with the Zutter distress it all and added some lavender stickles to the edges. I also used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge Blog

And for my last card I used this adorable Kenny K image for the Kenny K’s Challenge Blog where there is a lovely sketch over there this week.

Well that is it for me this weekend. Our County Fair starts today and my brother will be playing later this afternoon so some friends and I are going to be going and listen to them. He sings a few songs called “Mothers Bible” and “Memories” I know he will be singing these today, and today would of been our Mothers Birthday so I know this will hit really hard. I am so proud of him they have there own CD out now. (Pictured Below) My brother is the one on the left playing the big bass and he also plays guitar. Have a great day everyone
Oh goodness you have been a busy lady.Your cards are all beautiful.Love the sentiment on your first card.

Amazing cards! Love what you did with my sketch!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at SS&S.
Good luck in the draw!
I've sat looking at how you have interpreted these 3 sketches. I especially like the Hanglar one with that gorgeous maroon & cream strip. You've also created such character in each image - the Hanglar girl looks thoroughly Swedish to me. Intigued by your brother's CD too as - my Dad loved Gospel music. Such days are hard - so I'll just say that I have you & your brother in my thoughts.

Gorgeous cards Donalda. Looks like you had a lovely crafting session. I've also caught up with some of your previous cards as I've had a terrible broadband connection this week and it's been almost impossible to leave comments on my favourite blogs. This next 2 weeks will be just as bad but this time due to working full time!!
