Sketch Saturday

Oh what a gorgeous sketch they have this week at Sketch Saturday!! Oh I so loved doing this one. I used my Basic Grey papers and my Benji and Bex from Pollycraft, aren't they just so adorable? I colored them in with my copics and spica glitter pens, added the white gel pen in places. I distressed the edges of the paper with walnut distresed ink. The flourish is from bosskut and I added prima flowers with the leaf punch, the center I computer generated the wording and added it to a clear button with diamond glaze. My granddaughter wanted a card to give her mommy and step dad for Valentines day so this is it. Thanks for looking Hugs

High Hopes Challenge #13

This week at High Hopes the challenge was to use dry embossing. I used this adorable owl colored him in with my copic markers,spica glitter pens and white gel pen for hightlight. I used my nestiblities to cut the cirlces and embossed the brown one with my cuttlebug embossing folder. Then each cicle was embossed back in the die. I used this gorgeous raffia lace that my dear friend Rach got me. (Loven it) . I then cut the top circle out and with one of the square smaller nestiblities. I saw this on a blog but for the life of me I can't find the link. If it was you please let me know so I can give you credit. But the top layered circle I mounted it on with pop dots to give it a 3-D look. Thanks for looking Hugs

Card Holder

Well I have been off work for almost a month now and I get to go back Monday and I am so ready (never thought I would hear myself say that)lol But wanted to get some projects done that I had planned to do. So this is the first one.
This is a Card Holder, the tutorial I got from Beate (she is one talented lady) This took a lot of 12 x 12 paper but was so worth it. I love how it turned out. I used heavy dark brown cardstock and then my patterned paper is from K&Co. The cover and back pages are of chipboard and I distressed the edges of them and the layered papers with Walnut distressed inks, Then I used my BIA corner rounder for the corners. After I got my pages scored I binded them all together with my bind it all. I used my Martha Stewart lace doily border punch and my bosskut flourish diecut, oval nestibilites and added some prima flowers with brad and spacer and hung a butterfly charm from the flower. There are flat pearl beads on the flourish, the wording is from my sizzix dies. I used the adorable Rope Swing image from Sugar Nellie by the talented Elizabeth Bell. I really had fun making this I saved it for last for I figured it was going to be hard and take forever but it didn't.

Here is what the inside looks like I printed up the calendar on white textured cardstock and distressed around the edges with Walnut distressed inks.

Cute Card Thursday

At Cute Card Thursday this week you are to use something you got for Christmas!! Well I got some new Magnolia stamps and here I used Sitting Alva. I colored her with SU reinkers and twinkling h20's. Here I used my nestabilities for the wording which is unknown, and my cuttlebug embossing folder. I added some SU ribbon and added a decroative paper clip and added some leafs to the card. I made this card for a little girls birthday so made it sort of simple.

Stamp with Stampavie!

Over at Stamp with Stampavie this week there is another gorgeous sketch. I used one of my newer Sarah Kay images and colored her in with my twinkling h20's. I really like how the color turned out with just the twink's. I used my bosskut flourish and added some SU ribbon. I also added some charms that were from Fanciful Inc.
I didn't want to cover up much more of the paper for I thought this was just beautiful paper so I didn't add any flowers to it. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Welcome back Lili Of The Valley Fans!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the 1st challenge of the New Year with Lili of the Valley. We are so glad to be back with the challenges. This week we have a theme for you it is to make a Thank you card. For my card I have used the die cut of Oliver from Lili Of The Valley. Handsome man isn't he?? I layered some music paper and added some note charms and used several SU punchs to layer my wording which is computer generated. I cut Oliver out (didn't like the white showing) and glued him onto my papers. If you don't have any of these adorable stamps make sure you go visit Lili Of The Valley and fill your shopping cart up

Be Mine & A Pirates Life for Me!

Penny Black Saturday (Embossing)
This week at Penny Black Saturday you were to use embossing on your project. Well I wanted to make a Valentine tablet with my bind it all. I covered both pieces of chipboard with my paper with a glue stick I sanded the edges and distressed them with Walnut distressed ink.I then used the Zutter corner rounder on the edges. I used my bind it all and punched the holes and then bond the coils. I used my Martha Stewart border punch and then my cuttlebug heart embossing folder and layered it to the tablet. I added prima flowers and the quickut leaf die. My friend Jacqui had sent me this gorgeous charm and I added it with some chain from one of the flowers. The Penny Black image was colored with my copic's and spica glitter pens and then cut out with my coluzzle heart template.

High Hopes (Torn Paper)

This week the challenge at High Hopes is torn paper. I colored the High Hopes Pirate image with my copic markers and spica glitter pens and took some map paper and torn around the edges of it and then distressed it with Walnut distressed ink. I mounted the image and added a photo holder in the top of it. Used my nestibilites for the wording and added some brads to the edges of it. I also tied some help cord around my sword charm and glued it to the card.
I am also going to be sending this card to Tina's grandfather. He is going to be having his 88 birthday the 21st and we hope he gets showered with tons of birthday cards.

First Challenge of the Year for Whiff of Joy!

Well we are back and ready for our first challenge of the New Year at Whiff Of Joy Challenge Blog.
We have a wonderful sketch for you this week brought to you by our lovely Heather.
I have used Willow and also the chair both from Whiff Of Joy. I have colored them with my copics and added some spica glitter pens and white gel pens. I added a Prima flower with the leaf punches and also used the Martha Stewart border punch. I added some buttons in each corner.

A Spoonful Of Sugar is Back!!!!!

Oh I am so glad the new challenges have started. I was off work still and getting very bored. Now I will be saying a different story once I get to go back lol
This week at A Spoonful of Sugar, Nikki has a wonderful sketch for the challenge. For this sketch I have used the adorable Snowflake from Sugar Nellie. Isn't she adorable. I have colored her with my copics and spica glitter pens and a touch of the white gel pen. I added some glamour dust to the snowflakes and some fun flock to the muff. I layered her on some nestibilite dies with each layer being distressed with walnut distressed ink. I used some of my photo hangers from Close to My Heart and the ribbon is from SU. The flourish die was also distressed with the ink and I added some Prima flowers with brads and spacers in the center along with some leaf punchs.

Sorry for the bad photo I have took a pic of this about 7 times and can't get a good pic so hope it is good enough for everyone to make out.
So hope to see everyone in the challenge blogging world.

Pollycraft Monday

Well while I was doing my blog hopping I went to one of my regular blogs and found these cute little adorable images and just had to go check them out well low and behold I just coudn't resist them. So I thought what better way to show my new images off than to do the Pollycraft Monday Challenge
The challenge was doodling well I am not very good at doodling but gave it a try lol I doodled on my sizzix FRIEND die cut, doodled on my bosskut flourish, and doodles around the matt of my image and even on the inside of my card.
I colored the adorable Pollycraft image Bex (isn't she adorable)with my copic markers and spica glitter pens and added my white gel pen. I used some diamond glaze on the icing along with some glamour dust. I then added some stickles to the flower on my wording and added a prima flower with brad and spacer and I used one of my leaf dies.

Magnolia Vs Stampavie #8

Well this is the first challenge of the New Year at Magnolia Vs Stampavie. What a lovely sketch it is in deed. I enjoyed doing this sketch very much I used my BG Bittersweet paper and my new Magnolia, Tilda with tag and daisy from the Valentines collection. I have colored them in with my copic's and used some spica glitter pens. The ribbon is from HL and I used Prima flowers with the brad and spacer in the center. The label tag is from Joanns and the wording stamp is from SU. Make sure you go and check out the wonderful sketch at Magnolia Vs Stampavie this week. The DT has got some gorgeous inspiration for us.

Well I am trying to remember to do the inside of my cards like my lovely friends Bev, Rach, and Jacqui are doing but man I keep forgetting to do this but remembered this one before I posted lol.

Pink Cat Studio

I found these cute little stamps over at Pink Cat Studio they are just adorable. They have a contest going on right now with this cute little Lily. So I colored her in with my copic markers and spica glitter pens. Added some white gel pen to it. I used some prima flowers with brads and spacers in the center with the leaf punches. I added a paper doily behind my image with a purple leave. The wording is a sticker.

My Baby !!!!

Yesterday was my baby's birthday!! She turned 29. She thinks she is getting old lol She has 10 weeks left before she delivers Nathaniel and boy is she ready. She has redone her kitchen in John Deere so I got her the glass canisiters she wanted plus some crafting things I made. With her is her daughter Kirstie who is going to be 6 this year.

The first sketch challenge for the New Year at Sketch Saturday!! Man the year sure went fast didn't it?? Well this week on Sketch Saturday Emma has a wonderful sketch for us. I used one of the new Sugar Nellie images by Elizabeth Bell named Daisy!! Isn't she so adorable?? I colored her in with my copics and added some spica glittler pens and white gel pen in. The Launch of the Sugar Bowl!

Oh I tell you if this doesn't bring back so MANY memories of my younger days I don't know what would!!!!!!! I have set here doing my card for the new Sugar Bowl Challenge and had their blog music just playing over and over lol Oh man those were the days!! Would I ever love to be back in the 70's again. Yelp you heard read it right I am old lol ANYWAY!
Onto my card for the new Sugar Bowl. The first challenge is a sketch by Tiets. I used the image called Snowflake from the line of Sweet Art Ebony by Elizabeth Bell. I just LOVE her images!! They have to be my favorite. I colored her in with my copics and added some glazed pens and gel pen in places and also used some glamour dust on the snowflakes. The muff I added some fun flock (love that stuff). I used my snowflake charms and added some brads to them. Added a prima flower with a brad and spacer along with my leaf punches. The flourish is from Bosskut. The wording is from SU and all the punches used on the wording are from SU also. I used the Basic Grey paper and mounted each sheet with my chocolate chip from SU.
