Oh So Sweet!!

Hello everyone!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!! It goes so fast doesn't it?? Well my family is on there way back home to SC, and tomorrow is back to the slave board at work!! But wanted to make a card before the weekend ended so I chose to do the lovely sketch that Carole has on Friday Sketchers. I even got to ink up and color one of the Gorjuss Girls from Sugar Nellie in. She was colored with my copics and spica glitter pens. I used the retro flower punches with brads and spacers in the center. I used eyelets on a couple of the corners and I also used a metal corner flourish. The branch and leaf is from MS.

My family gathering

Well as most of you know I had some family come in from SC and we all got together for a cookout. We had a wonderful time and was so nice to have most of us together. Was missing 2 aunts (my father's sisters). It is so hard for my cousin Kathy to get around to see everyone so I thought what better way than to have a cookout. Both of my parents are gone and have been for 20+ years so it was sad in a way also. But just wanted to show you a few of the pic's we took. Thanks for stopping bye Hugs

This week at Just Magnolia we have a wonderful sketch for you by our own Bev!!
I have colored Tilda in with my copic's and added flower soft to the basket of flowers. I added some lace I had in my stash and my flowers are punched from my retro punchs. Oh our dear Heather has the most awesome sketch over at Whiff of Joy challenge blog. I just love this one oh wow. I have used papers from SU and colored Melinda with my copic markers and on her wings I added some glamour dust. I used the retro flowers and added some bling the ribbon was just from my stash and the wording is also from Whiff of Joy. I also used the lace doily border punch from MS. Just Thinking!!!!

Hello folks!!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and spent plenty of time with those Fathers!! It was a quiet day here. I got most of my cleaning done and had a little play time today for myself. I made a card for the Sugar Bowl it was a lovely sketch (love those sketchs) by Lilian. I used the adorable Country Style stamp. Isn't she adorable. She was colored with my copic's and spica glitter pens. I used the raffia ribbon and used my retro flower punches for the flowers and a brad flower with my MS branch punch. My papers are from SU. My lighting wasn't the greatest so sorry for the blurr!!

Then these are some notepads I made for a couple girls at work. One lady asked me to make her one for a gift then I just made one for another lady that comes to my line. Keeps me in sain getting to talk about crafting while there at work and yes we are still working those long hours they say next month will even be worse that orders will be up 27% Don't know how we will make it we are working 12 hours now. Oh well I have a job so should not complain.
My images on the motebooks are from Sugar Nellie also they are by Leanee Ellis and they are called Blossum and Journey. I so love coloring these images in. The poor things have been setting here waiting on me to color them forever!!! They were colored with my copic's and I have used the retro flower punches, and brads for the center. Flat pearls were used on both and the wording on the pink one is from SU along with the oval punches for it. I also used one of the cuttlebug embossing folders for the pink one, and the purple one I used one of the new Fiskars folding punches.

I have to work Monday through Wednesday and then I took a couple vacation days I have family coming in from S Carolina well they are already here as of today but am having a cookout here Thursday with all the family getting together. How is everyone doing today?? I hope you are doing fine. I wanted to show you my card for Just Magnolia this week. The theme is Summer Holidays, so I have used Sailor Tilda and made a Happy 4th card. Not for sure where my papers came from but I added some raffia lace that a very dear friend sent me and I added some Prima flowers. The HAPPY is from one of my sizzix dies and the 4th is from the bosskut alphabet die. I also used MS branch and leaf punch. And as always Tilda was colored with my copic's. Just love those copic's.

Birthday Wishes

Well it is time for another challenge over at Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog and this week we are asking you to do some paper piecing!! Now doesn't that sound like fun?? I had not done that for awhile so really enjoyed it. I have used Charlotte here and colored her in with my copic's and then used some PP for her dress. The wording is also from Whiff of Joy and the punches are from SU. The Flower is the retro flower punches and haev used the MS branch and a brad and spacer in the center. I also used a button and the photo corner punch from SU along with the papers.

Just Magnolia Montly Challenge

Over at the Just Magnolia Challenge Blog we have a Simon Says Stamp Challenge going on. This will be a monthly challenge and this month we are asking you to alter a container. There is a wonderful prize from Simon Says Stamp. Heidi is offering a $50 voucher from the store. How great is that!!!!
I have used a tin to alter and I made this for my grandson it is an band aid tin. I covered it with papers and used my cuttlebug alphabets and added some ribbon and the border punch is from MS. My Magnolia has been colored with my copics . Well hope you all are having a great evening. I am not use to getting on the net this late so my evening is about up. 3 am come way to early.

Well I hope this finds everyone doing great. This week on Just Magnolia we have a theme of Paper Piecing. It had been awhile since I had done this and forgot how much I enjoyed it. I am not for sure of the papers for the piecing but my other papers are from SU. Also from SU is the name label and the wording. I have added some bling to the top and have also punched some retro flowers with brads and spacers for the center. Tilda was colored with my copic's. Sure hope to see you at the challenge blog. Hello everyone hope all has had a wonderful weekend!!! I can say I got the weekend off from work and boy was it so nice!!! Yesterday I spent the day cleaning and cleaning since I had neglected it for awhile lol But today did manage to make a card for the Sugar Bowl!!!! I used one of the newer images from the Elizabeth Bell collection at Sugar Nellie's. It has been colored with my copic's and my papers are from BG. It was a wonderful sketch by Lia and the option was to use blue and green. So enjoyed the challenge.

Well it is that time again!!!! Just Magnolia is back with a sketch for you this week by the very talented Rachel. I so enjoyed using her sketch. Thanks dear for such a wonderful sketch you have given us I know I will use it over and over again.
I have colored Tilda with my copic markers and mounted her on some K&Co paper. I used the retro flower punch with the ISC crackle stamp and some flat pearls for the center along with the MS leaf and branch punch.. My wording is a rub on. And my ribbon is from HL.

As always I have my posts scheduled due to my long work hours anymore but this week on Whiff Of Joy Challenge Blog we are asking you to use Charms on your projects. This is the first time I have used it and have had it for awhile lol.
