Distressed!

Hello all, Hope this finds the start of your weekend doing great!!! This week on Just Magnolia our theme for you is distressing!!! I have used Tilda from the Chasing Butterfly collection and she is colored with my copic's. I have distressed all the edges of my papers with rangers vintage and antique linen distressed inks. My ribbon is from my stash and the flowers are from the one and only retro punch with the MS branch. The bling I have used here is from BG. My little beetle bug has been colored with my copic's too and I have pop dotted him on my card (sounded funny didn't it ?)

Floral!!!

Hello!!!! Thanks for stopping bye and visiting me today, I have my Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog card to show you today. The theme is Floral!! I have used the gorgeous Willow from the Summer Kit from Whiff Of Joy!! These stamps are still available so if you haven't gotten these you might want to do it before they are gone for they are just gorgeous. This kit is just all gorgeous!!! I have colored her with my copic's and have used papers from SU and all have been distressed with the vintage distressed ink by Ranger. I have used some Prima flowers with brads and flowers in the center, and the branch is a MS punch. The ribbon is from my stash along with the name plate the wording is from Whiff of Joy also. My border punch is from Fiskars it is the apron lace and I just added some bling to the top of the card.

Gorjuss Notepad

Well it is my second post for the day and sure never thought that would happen lol I did manage to get all the housework done so thought I would go play again before the day was over. I made this notepad for one of the girls at work, she had seen one of my notepad's and wanted one herself so finally got it finished tonight. I used one of the gorgeous Gorjuss girls from Sugar Nellie. She has been colored in with my copic's and spica glitter pens, The papers are from K&Co and the ribbon is from SU. And as always the flower is from my retro punch from EK and the branch and leaf is from MS. I used my bind it all to punch the holes and bind the wire on the matboard that I cute down for the tablet. Well you all have a great evening it is getting about time for me to call it a night, 3am comes way to early lol

Dawny's Sketch!!!

Good Evening all!!!! I hope everyone has had a great weekend!!! I know mine has been really busy!! Only managed to get 1 card done and I made it for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog.The challenge is a wonderful sketch by Dawny!!! I had gotten this cute adorable Sarah Kay image from Simon Says Stamp and just had to use it. She has been colored with my copic's and spica glitter pens. I used one of the nestibilites on the image and distressed my papers with Marmalade distressed ink. My flower is from the retro punch and a paper rose, the branch and leaf and my little butterfly is a MS punch. The wording is from Simon Says Stamp just love those sayings. And my paper is from MME.

Well again hope you all are enjoying your weekend, I was gone all day yesterday so today has been all the cleaning chores lol And have to go back to work tomorrow the weekends sure fly fast don't they?? Thanks for stopping bye Big Hugs!!!

I so enjoyed using her sketch and will use it over again. I have used Tilda from the Chasing Butterful Collection. She has been colored with my copic's and spica glitter pens. My papers are from BG and in my favortie color lol. I have used one of the cuttlebug embossing folders on one of my layers, also one of the flourish's from my quickutz dies and a garden charm. My flower is from the retro flower punch along with the branch from MS. I added some purple bling at the top.

A sketch by ME!!!

Hello Everyone!!! Well it is Wednesday again and that means time for a Whiff of Joy challenge!!! This week we have a sketch by ME lol
I took this sketch to make a birthday card for my dear friend of many many years, she has always been there for me and I just love her to death.
I have used the wisteria papers from BG, aren't these gorgeous papers and in my favorite color too. I have used Willow with flowers and she has been colored with my copic's. I have used the wording from SU along with the shaped punches for it. I also used the deckle nestabilites. I also used some purple prima flowers and some purple roses a dear friend sent me, the leaves and branch are MS punches.

Birthday Wishes

Good day all!!!! Well today I have NOT been cleaning lol I thought I would spend the last couple of days of my vacation playing some. So I joined the challenge at Sketch Saturday! I must say it feels good to join in some challenges. I sure have missed doing that. They have a wonderful sketch again this week as always. I have used Country Garden from Sugar Nellie for my sketch . She has been colored with my copic's and I have to say I tried coloring with these copic's different this time and from a lovely lesson from the wonderful talented Rach at Papercrafts by Rach . I know I have a long way to go but I have to say it isn't to bad for the first try at this. But Rach is a very good teacher!!!
I have used the wording from Simon Says Stamp and the punches on it are from SU. The ribbon is from my stash as well as the bling. My flower is from Prima and have added a brad in the middle, the paper is from K&Co.
Well hope you are enjoying your weekend. I have to say I have enjoyed mine so far even if my vacation is coming to an end.

Altered Container

It's me again!! Shocked??? Another post in the same day lol I was scheduleing some posts and saw in my edit posts that one of my posts from back in June never got published so even though it is late I thought I would still go ahead and post it.

It was from our first Monthly challenge at Just Magnolia.

It was to alter a container, and I used a band aid tin, I used Edwin with a band aid on his knee and forehead and also used the MS zig zag border punch along with the Cuttlebug Apha die to spell out OUCH. The ribbon at the top is from SU. Well sorry this is so late but I am sure you all seen it on the Challenge Blog but just wanted to get it posted here. Have a great day all.

Good Evening!!!!! How are you all doing tonight??? Me I am tired lol Just got in earlier from outside doing all the yard work, have been going strong all day but called it a day and decided to come and make a card for the Sugar Bowl!!!! And when I saw the prize Oh La La what a prize who wouldn't want to win those cuties????
For my card I have used the Country Style cutie from Sugar Nellie!
Just love these cute images! She has been colored with my copic's and spica glitter pens. My paper well I just fell in love with it when I saw it at the scrapbook store last week it is from Bo Bunny and I just love it going to have to get some more of it lol. I used the Su ticket punch on the corners and added brads and spacers and my ribbon is also from SU. The text is from Simon Says Stamp (love these sentiments). My border punch is the apron punch from Fiskars.

Buttons

Good Morning all, well my vacation is going so fast!! I really hate to see it end!!.
This week at Just Magnolia the challenge is to use Buttons! I have used some decorative buttons I cut the backs off and adhered to my card. I used Magnolia's Tilda with sunflower and have used some peel off stickers on my card also. Tilda has been colored with my copic's. Man I just realized I never used a retro flower on here lol That is a different one for me lol

Wish

Good Morning!!! How is everyone doing today?? I hope fine. I woke up rather early this morning (hate that) so thought I would make me a card before I got busy finishing all the things I need to get done while on vacation. Yesterday I cleaned carpets and cabinets, boy was I tired lol
Anyway on to my card, I have used one of the gorgeous images from Leanne Ellis at Sugar Nellie. I have used the beautiful sketch that Sketch Saturday has this week. I have so missed the challenges so while I was on vacation I thought I would get a few in. She is colored with my copic's and spica glitter pens, and my paper is from Making Memories, the flowers are from my retro punch and MS leave and branch punches. I added some raffia ribbon that I had gotten from my very dear friend and my wording is from Simon Says Stamp I tell you there sentiments are awesome. These do NOT leave my desk. I noticed after I took the picture that I left off the embellishments in the lower left corner. Oh well sorry about that to late now.

A Piercing Challenge

Good day everyone!! I hope this post finds everyone doing great!!!! I know I am for I am on vacation this week and sooooooooooo needing it lol After working the long hours at work it feels good to be off. I have lots of chores to get done but then do hope to get to play and do some blogging.
This week at WOJ we have the challenge of piercing!! I so love this challenge too. I have used Willow from the Summer Kit and my papers are from BG. I have used my piercing tool on the edge of my image and then I have used the SU photo corners and have used my piercing tool there also. My flowers are from the retro punch and MS branch punch and my wording is from the new stamps I got from Simon Says Stamp these sets of sentiments are just the best and they will never leave my desk lol. The wording punches are from SU.

My first Motivet Challenge!!

Well since I am on vacation this week I thought I would try to get some challenges in so I thought I would start with the Motivet challenge I got some of these cute little images and finally had a chance to color one up. So am entering this into there challenge this month it is a lovely sketch.
Doraline has been colored with my copic's and I have used K&Co papers for my card, and also used those papers to make my retro flowers, the leaves and branch are from MS as well as the border punch. My ribbon is just from my stash along with the brads and spacers in the middle of the flowers. The wording is from SU and I used SU punches for it.Then to top it off I added the flat pearls.
It really felt good to do a card for the fun of it and not be in a hurry. SO enjoying being off but it sure is going fast.

Another Gathering

Well we had another family gathering last night!! I haven't seen family for ages and then we have everyone coming in this summer. This week my cousin Sheryl(my moms side) and her husband is in from Florida. So a few of us got together and had a cookout. Just thought I would share some more family pic's.
This is Debbie, my brothers wife she is going to kill me for putting her pic on here, but she was the cook!! You can tell she is worn out bless her heart.

This is my brother Kym with his youngest son's girlfriend. This is Meagan!! My nephew Derek is over seas right now he has been there for about 2 months now and won't get to come home till around October.

craft show

Good morning all!! I just found some pictures that I took last month of some projects I made for a craft show and forgot to post them. They are just notepads made out of matboard and all with Magnolia stamps. I don't remember names of papers etc I added for it has been to long ago lol But thought I would go ahead and post these. Brown Paper Bag

It is that time again for our monthly challenge at Just Magnolia Too! The challenge was set by our dear Rachel we were to decorate a paper bag. I done a little cutting on mine for the front.

My papers are from Cloud 9 and I used some lace and retro flowers on the front. I also used one of Tim Holtz bubble words. Tilda and the tulips have been colored with my copic's

The inside I used more retro flowers, lace and added some flourish rub on's. The photo corners are a punch from SU and then I added a guitar pic. There is also another one of the bubble wordings. I so hope you will come and join us would love to see your version of the paper bag and to top it off Simon Says Stamp is sponsoring the challenges and you know they always give fabulous prizes.

Sketch my Mina

It's Friday!!!! And you all know what that means!! Just Magnolia!!!!! This week we have a wonderful sketch brought to you by Mina. I really loved this sketch and so enjoyed it. I have used Tilda from the St Patricks day collection and colored her with my copic's and added some flower soft to the flowers, my papers are from BG. I used the retro flower punches and the wording is from SU as well as the punches for it. I also used some raffia ribbon that a very dear freind sent me. So hope you all are having a great day. I am so hoping that today is the last day for work for a week. We have shut down every year at this time but we don't know for sure if we have to work or not so hopefully by the time this day is over I will have a whole week off that would be so nice. Distressed!!!!!!!!!!!

Well you talk about scheduling I tell you I never noticed that my post never posted as I had it scheduled to. But here it is anyway the 1st tutorial challenge on Just Magnolia (Distressed) Kim done a wonderful Tutorial on distressing and she has such gorgeous cards. What a Prize!!!!!!!!!!

I am so late this week in posting my such wonderful mail day!!! But just had to get it done this weekend. As most of you know I won the Big $100.00 Birthday Blog Hop at Simon Says Stamp Blog!!! I was just so excited to see that I won I can't express how much. But my prize came and man what fast service it was too. Paris!!!!!!

Oh isn't this Paris Tilda just the cutest??? This week at Just Magnolia the theme is How Charming!!! We want to see charms on your cards. So I added a couple of Paris charms to my card. Tilda has been colored with my copic's and I have used the spiral punch from SU. My flowers are from the retro punch. Really not for sure about the paper it was just from mys stash.
