Shine A Light !

Another sneak peak for you all here with this adorable Shine your Light image from Lily Of The Valley. Now I must say I can’t pick a favorite out of this release but this one is one dear to my heart.

I colored her with copic’s and papers are from BoBunny from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards.

I used a Magnolia Flourish, a Wild Orchid Crafts poinsettia and a Memory Box border die on my card. And a touch of glamour dust.

Today I am showing you Christmas Bears with presents. oh he is so handsome !!  I have colored him with my copics and the papers are from BG.  I used one of the Christmas Circular Sentiments from Lily Of The Valley also. The Christmas Tree die is from Marianne Designs. I used some glamour dust on my image and just added some ribbon from my stash.

Monday again !!! So am back to work but wanted to keep showing you all these soon to be released images for Lily Of The Valley. They will be released the 6th of September so get those pocketbooks ready lol

Today I am showing you All In A Row !!! Aren’t they just the cutest ??? I have also used the Christmas Circular Sentiments from Lily Of The Valley.

These cuties have been colored with copics and I used a Cheery Lynn Designs doily. The papers are BoBunny that I got from Susan’s Custom Art and Cards Design. This lady has such a large selection of paper. I love it. The ribbon is some seam binding that I got from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Let’s Play Bingo

It’s Friday !!!! Normally I would be tickled pink, but we are scheduled to work this weekend. The new models are up and running so it is going to be some major overtime they say. Good on the pocketbook but the old body just doesn’t like it lol

I don’t know about you but I work darn hard for my money !!!! I am getting so tired of being ripped off on shipping charges by some of these companies out here.

I have took a long hard look and now I ask myself

Do I really need this???
Do I really want to spend this kind of money to have this package shipped?

Most of the time I will not even checkout when I see shipping charges that are just so disgraceful !!!!

We all know that the items we buy are marked up half way anyway if not more than that , that is how these business's make there money not a problem. But to charge such disgraceful charges for shipping !!!

Well I have had enough. How about you???

I think we all need to start sticking together and stop spending our hard earned money at the places of business that charge these disgraceful shipping charges. You know if they stop getting business then maybe they will take a look at what they are charging us for shipping. They are making money off of us for the product and now they are making money off of us for the shipping.

Below is a example of what I am talking about.

A friend of mine in the UK wanted this die, now this die was $9.00 not a bad price at all for the die. Well as you all know how thin the dies are and they don’t weigh nothing.

Well to send this die to the UK from the states they wanted $29.80

So I ordered this die for my friend and they charged me right here in the states $6.50 for shipping. I knew this was a rip off but it was better for me to order it than my friend.

You have got to be kidding me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was stuffed full of papers and a very little thin die in the bottom.

The actual size of the die was around the same size as a EMPTY standard envelope!!!

You know I don’t care if it was priority mail or not this is a rip off. And I have ordered things and had them sent first class and there is only a day’s difference in getting my package.

Now I shipped this die to my friend in the UK in a padded envy ALONG with some other things and the envy was full. It cost me $6.07 to send this to my friend from here in the US to the UK . A difference of $23.73

Now yes I sent it first class and not priority but I have sent a lot of package to the UK first class and priority and there is no difference in the time they received the package.

Come on folks now is this the way we want to spend our money??? I know I have opened my eyes big time after this experience and I will not be ordering from company’s like this ever again. How about you?? I think we all need to stick together and stop spending our money in stores like this and spend our money at the business’s that treat us right.

I just placed a order last week from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards and I was charged for shipping what it cost to ship it nothing more. The fast and friendly service I got from Susana was just perfect. This lady treats her customers like she would like to be treated and her prices for what she has in her store is a very reasonable price. This lady will be getting a LOT of my business that is for sure.

I also placed a order with Frantic Stamper last week and was charged what it cost to ship it nothing more. The service was fast and friendly also.

There are a lot of company’s out there that are good to us and these 2 places I just placed a order with I was also given a little free gift. My business will be going to these company’s that don’t rip me off in shipping charges from now on that is for sure. These people care about there customers.

Please take the time to leave me a comment on your thoughts about this and let’s all stick together and start ordering from the company’s that care about us and not just there to rip us off in shipping just to put more money in there pockets.

But Claudia has set the challenge this week and she would like to see a different kind of sentiment. I sort of struggled with this but thanks to a friend and Mr Google we gotter done lol

I have used this adorable Hanglar and he has been colored with my copics. I used a Magnolia flourish and a SU ribbon and border punch.

The sentiment I cut out using one of the Go Kreate dies.

I used a border punch from SU and added a few gems in the corner.

Holiday Fun

Happy Friday dear friends !!!

Today I am back to show you my card for the new challenge over at Just Magnolia and Hanglar Challenge Blog .
My dear teamie Jan has set the challenge as Holiday Fun. This can be any holiday, so come on over and join us.

For my card today I have used Tilda throwing snowballs from Magnolia as well as the sentiment which I have used to die cut with one of my new Go Kreate dies. Oh I am so loving these dies, they are so perfect for sentiments. The one I am using today is Frilly Ornament #9. You all just have to check these dies out. Wonderful !!!!!!

I have used some BoBunny papers and some ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts.

My images have been colored with copics and I have used lots of glamour dust.

I also used the snowflake border from MS, the dark purple paper is hard to see it but it is under the ribbon.

Oh don’t you just love the weekends??? I have so enjoyed mine getting to play with some more of these adorable Christmas Cuties from Lily Of The Valley new release.

Today I am showing you Under the Mistletoe and I have colored my image with copic’s. I used some glamour dust on my image for snow and used a Spellbinders die on it.

My papers are from K&Co and I used a Swirl Flourish from Magnolia. This luscious ribbon I just got from Really Reasonable Ribbon it is Crushed Ribbon and I so love it.

I used a poinsettia from Wild Orchid Crafts under the ribbon.

Festive Friends

Hello Everyone !!! I have a card to show you today that just never got posted !!! I was in my edit on my blogger and seen this one back that never published. Sometimes me and blogger just don’t get along. Sometimes I am able to leave comments on blogs but for the most part it won’t let me. Keeps asking me to sign in and after doing this over and over I just give up.

So here is a late posting. I am showing you today Festive Friends from Sugar Nellie.

My card is very CAS, as we all know how much Karen loves CAS. I colored my image with copic’s and used some glamour dust on Santa.

The sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly and I just added some gems to the card and it was done. I am not sure of the papers as they were in my stash from last year.

Yes that’s right !!! Glitter !! That is our new challenge over at Just Magnolia and Hanglar Challenge Blog this week.

Mina has chosen our challenge this week and what a wonderful one it is.

TIlda has gotten glittered lol I added glitter to her winds, dress and flowers. And then to top it off I added some stickles on the trellis rose from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I used a die from My Favorite Things and these gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I used a punch for the leaf from Nellie Snellen.

Happy Wednesday dear friends !! Half way through the work week !!!!

I am back today to show you another Christmas Cutie from Lily Of The Valley ! This one is called Kitty Gifts.

I just love these adorable kitties here. They have been colored with my copic’s .

Poinsettia is from Wild Orchid Crafts and I used a spellbinder label for the sentiment which is a peel off sticker as well as the ornament border.
Ribbon is from my stash and I used some glamour dust on the image as well.

Ski Jump

Well it is a new week and I am sure everyone is back to work. I got some play time in this weekend and thought I would show you another one of these Christmas Cuties from Lily Of The Valley. This one is called Ski Jump. Looks like he is having a blast.

I used a MS snowflake border and a snowflake charm along with some ribbon from my stash.
