My daughter Rachelle is getting married the 5th of April so these are some of the photo's that were took with there engagement pictures. It is so amazing how much Kirstie has grown in such a short time.

Birthday Cards

Well since I am going to be out of commission for a while I wanted to get some birthday cards done so I am going ahead and uploading them not sure who will get what but at least they are done for a couple of months lol It is going to kill me not to be able to stamp for 6 weeks but I know this has to be done. The stamps on the cards are from magnolia and cuddly buddly and one from Whipper Snapper.

Bookmark Swap

Over at SSR Michelle has taken over the swaps for me till I can get my sugery over with so she is having a Bookmark swap so I thought I would join in the last swap till I am able to participate again.
I went with a theme of Gone with the Wind.

Tilda and Friends !!!!

Well I am running behind on this one. This week on Tilda and Friends the theme was Chocolate !! So I made a atc of Tilda with some cookies and of course they are to be chocolate lol
I used the ATC die cut frame and photo corners from Debbie's Die Cuts. I just love these atc frames. And of course the stamps are from Magnolia.

Weekend Sketch#39

Well I finally got my card done for the Beate's Weekend Sketch. I took the opportunity to make my daughters wedding card. The stamps are from SU and most of the paper the heart cut outs my dear friend Claudia sent me.

Cute Card Thursday !

Wow A New Challenge Site !!! You all have to go check this out. It is called Cute Card Thursday. The first swap for this is to make a cute card using the theme new beginnings or 1st. So I had gotten my new Cuddly Buddly stamps and thought hey first little pony lol So here is Charley with her first little pony Willow. The paper and punches are from SU and I used the Copic Markers to color in the image. So don't forget to go check out the new challenge site. I know you all will love it

Magnolia !!!!!

Here is a card I made for Marlene's blog candy. She loves the color green and loves ribbon so I made the card with a couple shades of Bazzil cardstock and some of WWP new Ruche paper. The ribbon and punches and word saying are from SU and the flowers are from Prima. I have added some green stickles to the center of the flowers. And of course the cute little girl is from Magnolia.

Beate's Weekend Challenge #38

Well I took Beate's weekend sketch challenge to make my little grandson a birthday card. I didn't embellish it for he is just going to tear it up lol But the stamps are the little Studio G stamps. Thanks again Beate for another great challenge

Papertake Weekly Challenge

Over at the Papertake Challenge this week it is squares. So I made this card using Tilda with the 1 inch square punch and stamping up paper. I colored Tilda in with the copic markers. Just love these challenges.

March COTM

This is the card I made for SSR's COTM. I send to Heather so what better stamps to use than her own line lol I used copic markers to color the image and the patterned paper is from My Minds Eye. The other is from SU.

More Faux Aged Metal with Patina Verdigris Effect Techinque

These are some samples I have done for Debbie's Die Cuts of her More Faux Aged Metal with Patina Verdigris Effect Techinque she came up with. I just love the effect of this technique. She done her samples with paints but on mine I tried it with the Radiant Rain Sprays and the Opalite Reinkers. I then ran them through the cuttlebug like she done and used black stazon on the raised edges. I just love the way it looks. The Tag from Debbies Die Cuts I done with the Opallite reinkers, then the frame and the notebook holder were done with the Radiant Rains. The tag and frame are stamps from Magnolia and the post it notebook is from Stampin Up. Make sure to check her blog out for some gorgeous samples

Tilda & Co Challenge

Tilda & Co's Challenge for this week is Think Spring so I made this card for the challenge. I used World Win Papers and Hot off the Press Patterned paper. I used my sizzix die cut fence and used some flower stickers for around the fence. The word stamp and punches are from SU

Beate's Weekend Challenge#37

Well the weekend is about over and I am running behind. I am trying to get all my commitments done this weekend. I am just about there lol The stamp is Tilda from Magnolia. Isn't she just the cutest ???? I used WWP medium and dark ocean blue cardstock and then hot off the press patterned paper. The punches and word stamp is from SU. Check this gorgeous card out I got from Claudia, isn't she just the greatest??? The stamps is from Magnolia and I have just fell in love with them. Go check out Claudia's blog her work is just beautiful. She also designs for Magnolia. No wonder she is on the design team check it out.

Journal Notebook

I got some new die cuts from Debbie's Die Cuts so I had to jump in and try them out. These are the new brackets from there. Oh so many things you can do with these!!!! This notebook uses the SU Close to Cocoa DSP and there Enjoy every moment stamp set. I also used Tim Holtz grungboard and crackle paint for the word notes, and I used the prima flowers with rangers stickles in the middle as well as on the brackets. The ribbon came from HL.

Pictures from the Shower

My daughter is getting married the 5th of April so they had a wedding shower for her today at the Conservation Club. They got some very nice presents. She is registered at her favorite place and he registered at Target and I think Rachelle won the prize lol Most of the packages were from Bed Bath & Beyond.
Anyway here are a couple of pictures from today. This is Jeremy, Kirstie and Rachelle soon to be Conyer.

Just love Magnolia

I am trying so hard to learn to blend in my colors. I don't know why but I have always had so much trouble with that. But Claudia has the most gorgeous Stamps I have ever seen they are so adorable they are from Magnolia. So she stamped me some images still I could get my order in. They are just the cutest stamps ever. So anyway I tried blending again so here is a card I made for a friend of mine at work. Paper and punches and the wording stamps are from SU. The stamp is from Magnolia.

It's the Weekend !!!!!

And you know what that means !!! It is time for Beate's Sketch Challenge HOORRAY !!!!!!!
I used the sketch challenge to make one of my grandkids a Easter Card. I used SU Fall Flowers DSP and there Very Vanilla and there ticket punch and ribbon . I also used WWP Colormates Dark and Medium Orange Dream. I used Rangers Spiced Marmalade to sponge around the edges and the stamps were from TAC

My Brother

Here is a couple of pictures of my brother and the band he plays in. One of the guys couldn't make it Sunday but my brother is the one in the funkie hat and the one playing the big cow base. The band is called BlueGrass Gospel Alliance. I just love listening to them play. We had a good time and sure got full on all the food lol

Mothers Day Card

I made this card for a Challenge I saw on Papertake Weekly Challenge!!
I am so glad I came upon this blog. Sounds like so much fun.
The theme was to make a spring card and they said you could make a Mother's Day Card. So I made this card for my Granddaughter to give her mommy for Mother's Day.
Stamps are from Stampland and the colored paper and word stamp is from SU.

Oh don't laugh to hard lol

A very sweet lady stamped me a few images of the gorgeous stamps from Magnolia and I gave it a shot of trying to color blend for my first time. Needless to say I need tons of practice at this. Just don't laugh to hard lol I made the card for Claudia's Bog Challenge.
I used colored pencils and some gamsol but these images are just the most adorable stamps I have ever saw and I sure ruint it. But I won't give up I will keep at it till I get it lol

Notebooks for the wedding party

Well I finally finished the rest of the notebooks for the girls in Rachelle's wedding party. I am making matching pens also but don't have ethem done yet The stamps are from PaperBag Studio and the paper is mostly from SU along with the punches.

Claudia's Challenge

Claudia is having a challenge on her blog for one of the most gorgeous stamp companys I have ever seen. Once you see these cuties you are hooked. They are so precious !!! So we were to make a card or project with our favorite color. So anyone that knows me knows what my favorite color is lol PURPLE !!!! So I made myself a chipboard notebook for her challenge. I also used Debbie's Die Cuts new flourishes on it I painted it with rangers Eggplant paint and there purple stickles on top

My Granddaughter

Well my oldest granddaughter who is going to be 5 in May, is giving her mother away at her wedding in April. Yesterday they had a girls shopping day getting the last minute things for the wedding and Kirstie finally got her dress she is going to wear. They all came down last night to do the invitations and she had to bring her dress for grandma to see and of course she had to model it for me lol She is such a doll.

It's Beates Sketch Challenge34 !!!

Yipee !!!!!!!! I just love the weekends for Beate always has her sketch challenge up when I get home from work on Friday. I just love doing these. I took the layout this time and made a chipboard notebook. My youngest is getting married in April so she asked me to make the girls in the wedding some chipboard notebooks. Which she knows I love to do. So I took advantage of the sketch and made my first one. The girl stamps are from PaperBag Studio and the paper and word stamps and punches are all from SU

More Flourishes from Debbie's Die Cuts

Well I got to play some more with the wonderful Flourishes from Debbie's Die Cuts. These are so ADDICTING !!!! This is the guest book for my daughters wedding. Yes it isn't the typical guest book but the wedding isn't going to be that typical either lol.
I cover chipboard with some textured wallpaper. Cut out the names with my sizzix alphabet and then I painted the flourishs with Rangers weathered blue crackle paint. After this was dry I sponged on some Faded Jeans distressed inks to them. You all need to check these out at Debbie's Die Cuts for these things are like I said very Addictive

Wow New Die Cuts

Man you all have to go check out Debbie's Die Cuts new dies !!!!!!!!! And she is getting some more dies in too. Oh have I had a blast with these new flourishes. Talk about so many possiblities !!! She has out done herself now.
I made a chipboard notebook cover with the large flourish on it and a card with the smaller ones. These here are made of out chipboard but she cuts them in different products. Here I painted mine with the Rangers paint Pesto then added some stickles to the top of them. Man folks these are a must have.

Two for One

I made a card for a sketch challenge that Lisa has on her blog and I made the card for the COTM at SSR. The paper is from SU and the stamp is from TAC. This card is going to be traveling to Hong Kong !!! How cool is that ??

Weekend Sketch Challenge 33

Well it is finally Friday again !!!!! Two reasons to love Fridays 1. I don't have to work for 2 days lol and then it is Beate's challenge's. I just love these challenges she has.
