Good Day !!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday here in the USA. I so enjoyed being off work and got some play time in.

I hope this post will go off like it is suppose to, I am having the probe put in today so after 48 hours I can take my medicine again till the week before surgery.

Today I have a couple of candy boxes to show you.  This first one I have made for my team leader at work, he loves candy so I figured this cutie girl Santa he will get a kick out of.

Christmas Cards

Hello !! Thanks for stopping bye and visiting me today. I had a 4 day weekend with the Thanksgiving Holiday we had here in the USA. So I took advantage of some of my spare time and made some Christmas Cards with my Verve Stamps.

The cost to mail my regular 6 x6 cards here in the states is a little expensive so this year I decided not to mail that many of them, since I will be off work for sometime with my surgery. So got out my gorgeous Verve stamps and went to town lol

This is my last challenge with Just Magnolia. I have had a wonderful time being on the team and have met so many friends, but it is getting to hard to keep up with my work load and raising my grandson and having to deal with the health issues right now. Thanks for stopping bye today. I finally have gotten caught up with some of my projects I had started. I intended this to be done in time for the Sugar Nellie’s Paper Planet challenge, but just didn’t make it.

I have made a couple of Tea Light cards for some friends at work. I have used these cute Magna images from last years Christmas Collection. I tell you I just love these. This first image is Santa in the Chimney. I added some flower soft to his fur.

The image inside is called Gingerbread. I have colored them with my copic’s I got this tutorial from the talented Lena. I dug out my ornament punch and added some peel off’s to the inside also.

Here is the second one I finished. These are made with Tilda.

You all have a great day. I only have to work 3 days this week (crossing fingers nothing happens) for we have our Thanksgiving Holiday so that means a 4 day weekend for me. I won’t be able to eat all the good food sadly I had to call off my dinner for this year but once I have the surgery and get on the mend we can just have a redo holiday lol Thanks for stopping bye.

Be Your Best Elf !!

Happy Sunday All !!!

Sorry not much crafting for me lately. I have been taken off my medicine so that when they put the probe in my stomach the test results will be very accurate. So not having a great time right now, but so wanted to get my challenge done over at the Sugar Bowl . There is a gorgeous sketch there by Marlene and the theme is Black and White with a color of your choice.

I decided to make a notepad with the sketch instead of a card using this adorable Miss Elf from Sugar Nellie from last years Manga’s collection. Isn’t she just the cutest Elf ???  I made a pattern for the inside to hold the notepad and used some covered chipboard to make the outside covers.

 

Here is a picture of the inside and on the left I made a little pocket to add some papers.

 

Well I do hope you all have had a great weekend. I had to work yesterday so when I got home I just made myself get my house work done so thinking that I might feel like playing today. We will see.

A Tutorial for You !!

Morning All !!! Well I have another project I got finished. Seems like it takes me forever to finish anything lol

Today I have an Wooden Purse to show you that I made for my other granddaughter.

After sanding the purse I painted it with some Forest Moss paint and then adhered some BoBunny paper to it.

I have used this cute Tilda with Umbrella that I colored with my copic’s. 

I am going to fill the granddaughters purse’s with some goodies for the holidays.

Hello All !! I hope everyone’s week is going well. Today I have a Gable Box to show you I made for the Lovely Hanglar Challenge Blog. The challenge this week was to use Snowflakes. So I used the patterned from the gorgeous Kirsten, this girl is just so talented!! The tutorial was so easy. Thanks Girl.

I was lucky to get some stamped images awhile back from a dear friend and was saving them for special occasions Think this one counts lol

My snowflakes are from Spellbinders, Martha Stewart and some brads and charms from my stash.

Morning Everyone!!! Thanks so much for stopping bye. I have had several emails asking about my Dr Appointment and after having all the tests done and the results in this is the update to it. I have to go and have a probe put in my stomach and wear this monitor for 48 hours and after the results come in from this (10 days ) he wants to do surgery. The test will determine how much acid is in my stomach and then he will go in and sew my stomach back where it belongs. So now it is a waiting game. You should know this would happen around the holidays lol Guess I won’t be eating those lovely meals ( well like I could of now anyway) But thank you all for your emails and for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers.

 

Okay now on to my card. I made this card for the challenge over at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog. ( I won last week’s prize I was so excited)

This week the challenge is Thank  You !!! So I have made this card for someone special. Not for sure of the papers here for it was in my stash, I am trying to use up some of my older papers. I have used flowers from Prima and added some Pearl Pen and I used the Magnolia leaf die. I added some glamour dust to Tilda’s dress and crown.

Well I am back to show you my final Simply Sassy image. This one is I love to Read!!!

I had one of those larger clothespins and thought this would be the perfect image to adhere to it so that my daughter could display my granddaughters school papers.  The image is colored with my copic’s and I added some Diamond Glaze to the glasses.
