Be My Valentine !!

sssm

Hello my dear friends !!! Thanks so much for stopping bye today. So appreciate it!!!

Well it is Monday and I am on the home stretch of having to go back to work. This will be my last week off. I have so enjoyed being off but not the way I got to be off lol

But today I have made an easel box for my for grandson and granddaughter. I am going to fill it full of lovely candies once it gets closer ( don’t think mom and dad will like all the sugar lol) But I have used the wonderful tutorial over on Norma’s Blog This woman is so talented and I so appreciate all her tutorials in making things. I have also used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog.

I don’t do very well at taking Easel Card pictures but I do hope you can get a idea of it.

I have used one of my Hanglar images that was sent me to me by a dear friend. Thanks hon. I have used some papers from BG. Sentiments are from SU and used a SU punch and spellbinders to cut them out. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaf is from Magnolia. I used one of my Maya Roads chipboard flourishes and painted it with Lumiere and added some Iridescent Medium. I added some large flat pearls.

Here is a side view of the box

And a close up of the front of the box. I have used one of my circle punches to make an opening in the drawer so it will be easier to open it. Since my grandkids are smaller I didn’t add an handle I figured this would be easier for them to open.
