Happy New Year Everyone!!!! I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful New Years Eve !!! Me I never saw midnight lol The pain pills I am taking just let me sleep lol
Today I would like to show you a card my granddaughter Kirstie made for her mommy’s birthday this coming Monday. Kirstie came to spend the day with me yesterday and take care of grandma so while she was here we colored some images. I think she done so well making her card. She done this all by herself except for I cut her paper out for her with the trimmer. She has used Tilda with Ribbon and her papers are from K&Co. Yes Grandma let her use her copic’s. Her sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and her flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the branch from MS . The ribbon was from my stash.
I hope you all will leave her a little comment about her card she made . She asked me if I would enter it into a challenge for her like I do and so I am going to enter this into Just Magnolia for her.
And here is my card I made for a few challenges. I have used Tilda with Present here and she has been colored with my copic’s. The papers are from Memory Box and I have used the gorgeous snowflake from Whimsy Stamps, oh the detail into this snowflake. I so wish I had ordered this when it first came out. Just gorgeous !!! The circle sentiment is also from Whimsy Stamps. I have added some glamour dust to the snowflake as well as under Tilda’s feet for snow. The ribbon is from SU.
I am going to enter this into a few challenges.

Hello Kirstie, I love your colour choices & the contrasts you created. The lace across the middle gives such lovely texture too. You're better at writing than I was when I was your age. I like the shading in your colouring & I hope you have a lovely time celebrating your Mom's birthday - she will love what you've made for her.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you from Wales.

I love how the texture in your snowflake echoes that in pattern of the papers & those colours are lovely. I'm glad the pain is under control so you can function. Sleep is also very healing. With my love for a good 2011 for you..

P. S. There are a few kids challenge blogs out there my girls love to join. Maybe Kirstie wants to enter her georgeous card there too. One of them is Kona Kid Krafters - and there are links to others ;O) Maybe she will be picked as a guest designer like my twins are this month - it made them sooo proud!
