Tea Light Card

Good Day everyone!!! I hope everyone is doing well today. I am back at work today so hope this post goes off without any hitches. I have wanted to make one of these Tea light cards since I saw them on Lena's blog. She has a wonderful tutorial for you over there so if you want to make one make sure you check her blog out.

This is my first one and I must say I hope the second one will turn out better have a few mistakes on it but hey 1st time lol

I have used some new images from Whiff Of Joy Store Stamp Kit. This kit is just out of this world. I so love each image on this sheet and just had to have it. My images have been colored in with my copic's and all the sentiments are on in the kit also, it is a must have that is for sure.

On the front here I have used some of my new flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, and have used the MS branch punch with it. I have added some flat pearls in a couple of the corners and the sentiment is punched out with SU punches and added some flat pearls to it also.

Here is a close up of the front. I added some SU string to keep the tea lights from falling out. lol

Now here is the inside and I am so sorry for the bad photo. I just can't get a good picture anymore of my cards. I am using a daylight for by the time I get home it is not good lighting . But something is still wrong so please forgive the pictures.

The images on the inside are also colored with my copic's and and the wording is from Whiff of Joy also and I used the spellbinder dies on them. The papers I have used are from BoBunny and these have to be my favorite that is for sure.
I used the yellow pearl pen from Susana's on this and here is one of my mistakes lol I got in to big of a hurry to finish it and wasn't doing a good job with the pearl pen. Lesson learned, don't hurry with these pens. They sure are not straight that is for sure lol I know what to do next time.

Had so Show you this

I got a wonderful surprise in my email and just had to share this with you. My youngest daughter emailed me this picture her sister sent her of my oldest grandson. I haven't seen him for almost a year and I really miss him. But he was going to the prom last weekend with his girlfriend and so I just had to show off his picture.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!! Well today is the last day for me to be off work, have to go back to the grind board tomorrow so this morning I had some play time, and managed to do a few challenges.

My first card is for Sketchy Colors, they have a gorgeous sketch over there this week and just had to join in. There is always so much inspiration on there blog. I have used one of Elizabeth Bells Digital images called Rachel the Angel. Isnt' she just adorable??? Oh I just fell in love with her. I have colored her with my copic's and my papers are from Bo Bunny. I used the SU ticket punch on the corner of the image and added some spacers and brads in each. I added a Prima flower with a button center that one of my very dear friends sent me, and added the MS branch punch to it. The sentiment is punched out with SU punches. My friend Kim showed me the pearl pens and just had to get some and boy do I love them, so I added them to my card today, I got them over at Susana's and talk about fast shipping !!! WOW!! But you all are going to love these.

My next card is for the sketch over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp, I have used one of the new images from the Get Well Collection at Whiff Of Joy, isn't this clown just the cutest??? She is colored with my copic's and I added some Ric rack to the card along with those awesome pearl pens from Susana's (see post above). I also die cut a Balloon out and added the Whiff of Joy sentiment to it.


Now here is another one of the new Get well images from Whiff of Joy. Little Doctor I just went to the Dr Friday for my checkup, and this is what my Dr had on so just had to color him in just like the real Dr lol This card has been made with the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. I used papers from Anna Griffith. and the red medical cross was just one I had in my stash. I also added some of the red pearl pen from Susana's ( top post). He is colored with my copic's and I used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday to make the card.

PopCorn anyone???

Afternoon!!! Well I hope you all are having better weather in your parts than I am. It is raining cats and dogs here. We have had rain all weekend so far, but hey that is okay gives me more opportunity to play lol

I finally finished a tote box that I got from Creative Cuts and what a more perfect stamp to use for this. This is one of the New Manga's from Sugar Nellie she is called Cheerleader.

Now I know you all are loving these cuties for I have read your comments you have left me on my other posts about them. So I do hope you have got yours ordered so they will be ready to go out Tuesday to come home to you.

So what better subject for her to be cheering none of than Sugar Nellie, so I added a computer generated tag for 3 Cheers for Sugar Nellie and used some SU punches to punch it out. And what do most people eat when they are at a game?? Yes some popcorn so had to fill the box with some popcorn. Now I would of had this project done sooner but I kept eating all the popcorn and hadn't had my project finished so today I finally finished it and went to the store and got another bag lol Yelp I am going to be eating it too lol

This was really left simple I just colored her with my copic's and cut her out with the spellbinder dies and added the tag.

Well I had better go and finish up some more DT work and then I think I am going to chill the rest of the day watching some TV. As long as I don't fall asleep I will be okay but this rain always makes me so sleepy lol

New Manga's!

Happy Weekend everyone!!! I hope you all are having a great one so far. I sure am, but my weekend started yesterday with a vacation day lol Love those lol I just got back from eating lunch with my friend Lisa. We try to get together a couple times a month since her husband passed away. It is good to spend some time with her and talk about the old days lol

Today I have some new Manga's to show you from Sugar Nellie, I just love these New Manga's. I have managed to make a few challenge cards today to show you, the first one here is Tiny Tiddler, isn't she cute??? I have colored her with my copics as always, I used the sketch for this card from Create 4 Fun challenge blog, I am not for sure of the papers as they were in my stash. But I have used one of the MS border punches and branch for the card and then the gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts roses. I just got my new order this week and so love the orange color ones. I believe the wording is from Stampavie

Now this card is another new Manga from Sugar Nellie also, she is called Godilocks
Love her hair don't you?? I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers for this card. My papers are from K&Co and I used another one of the MS border punches for this one and added some flat pearls. I used the SU ticket punch around the image and the ribbon is also from SU. I added brads and flat spacers to the corners of the image. Goldilocks has been colored with my copic's also.


And this cutie is for the challenge over at Stamp Something. I so love this image of Tilda I have colored her with my copics and added some glamour dust to her gloves and socks. I added some ribbon from my stash and used some gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts (yes they have more than just the roses) I added the MS branch behind the flowers. The wording is from Simon Says Stamp.

More Manga's

Oh my don't you just love the new Manga's from Sugar Nellie??? I think these are just so adorable.

Today I would like to show you a couple more of these cuties I have finished. First off we have Goth Girl. Oh what a pleasure it was coloring her. I have colored her with my copic's, she is right on top of it isn't she. Gorgeous image. I have used some papers in my stash and some ribbon and flowers I got at HL.

Now check this cutie out!! Isn't he so handsome rocking out there??? This is Rock Idol another new Manga from Sugar Nellie. I have used some digital papers from Bearly Mine Designs, so fitting for this rock star. I used one of the hodgeware from SU and the wording is computer generated. I had some music peel off's so I added those to the card. And as always he has been colored in with my copics.

Home Sweet Home

Well I am back today with a second post !!!! I finished what I needed to do so thought I would join in the Anyone For Anya Challenge. I am just loving these cuties. The challenge this week is a gorgeous sketch by Dawny!!! Love her sketch's.

I have colored my image in with my copic's as always lol And used papers from MME. These papers are so glittery but they sure don't show up in the picture. I used the labels spellbinders die for my wording and that is from Stampavie. And the flowers are the gorgeous cherry blossoms from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Thinking of You

Afternoon everyone!!! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I have managed to make a couple cards today and figured I better get them posted before I forgot lol Just one of those weeks!!!!

My first card is for the Sugar Bowl , there is a lovely sketch by Tiets there and I so love her sketch's. I have used Choose from Sugar Nellie. I love Leanne Ellis images. I colored her in with my copics. The please add for the challenge is to add punched things. So I punched some of my retro flowers and punched the sentiment out with 3 punches from SU. Don't forget to join in the Sugar Bowl. There is always so much inspiration and also wonderful prizes.

Then Karen from Sugar Nellie, well she loves CAS cards, so there is a challenge over at Spitcoaststampers in the Sugar Nellie forum to make a CAS. I think this was the hardest card I have ever made lol I colored Annie with my copic's and added some paper from SU and then the ribbon was just from my stash.

Have you all gotten your new Leanne Ellis stamps??? Oh I am so loving mine, I think they are just so cute. And how about the previews for the new Manga ones!!! OMG!!! Breath taking. Make sure you stalk Funky Kits !!!!

Anything Goes

Well I tell you, I don't know what happened here but I either forgot to post my Just Magnolia or it got lost lol I would say after the week I have had it probably never even got made lol I was never so glad for this week to be over that is for sure.

This week at Just Magnolia the theme was Anything Goes, so instead of making a card I decided to make hanging notepad. I used some papers from K&Co and the most gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, the butterfly and leaf are punches from MS. I used Princess Tilda I just love her. She has been colored with my copic's and I used some glamour dust on her socks and gloves. The eyelets and ribbon are from SU and the cork I got at HL. Then just added some T pins and my post it note. The word Notes is a die from Bosskuts

Tea Light Holder

Hello everyone!! Thanks so much for stopping bye today.

I would like to show you a little altered project I made a few weeks back. I made this for Katharina's birthday. She is a sweetheart and just wanted to make her a little something for her birthday. Just wanted to make sure she got it before I posted it lol

My dear brother helped me with the wood. And then I painted it with white paint and adhered some K&Co papers. I added a couple different trims of lace to it and then the gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I used the MS branch punch and the SU leaf die also for it. I used the adorable Whiff of Joy Melinda hugging heart!! She has been colored with my copic's and some spica glitter pens.

It has been one long week for me with so much trouble. My computer crashed Monday and it has been one big mess. But ended up having to go buy a laptop and never in my life have I used one before and man, so much to learn lol. I can't wait to get my desktop back and ready to go.

A few Challenges!!!

Good Morning all!!! I hope everyone is enjoying there weekend. It is a bit chilly here in Indiana. It had been so nice all week and then the weekend comes and it really dropped it's temperature.

So what more fun that to stay in and play in some challenges.

My first Challenge is for the Farm Fresh Challenge at the Greeting Farm. They have a wonderful sketch for you this week, and just couldn't pass it up. I have used one of the newer images and she has been colored with my copic's. I have used some papers from K&Co. and some raffia ribbon and buttons from BG. Then my flourish is a bosskut die and added some flat pearls to it.

This next card is the adorable Cheddar from the home grown collection at Sugar Nellie. Isn't he adorable?? Karen would love for everyone to get out some of there older images and make something with them. Go check out the blog, one person just might get a prize lol You know she loves giving prizes.

I have used some SU papers on my card here with some buttons from BG and Cheddar has been colored with my copic's. The wording is from Cuddly Buddly. I am entering this card into 2 challenges. Create 4 Fun is asking for circles and then the Sketch Saturday sketch this week was circles so hey got 2 for the price of 1. lol

Last up is this adorable Windswept from Sugar Nellie from the Elizabeth Bell collection. I have colored her with the copic's and added some spica glitter pens to it also. My papers are from K&Co and the ribbon is from SU. These gorgeous roses are none other than from Wild Orchid Crafts. I used the MS branch punch also and the border punch I used this time is from SU. Then just added some flat pearls from my stash.

I am entering this into 2 challenges also. I used the sketch over at Mojo Monday and have used the theme from Papertake Weekly which was cutie pie. And I do believe she is a cutie pie.

So for my special project I made a card with one of the new Tilda's and I have used papers from BG. I used some SU rub on's on the top of the card also but you can't see very well in the picture. I added some leaf's and branches from the MS punches and one of the spellbinder dies at the bottom. I also used one of the EK success border punches. All of these items on my card you can find at Simon Says Stamp, even the roses I used on this card you can get there.

Then I also made a notebook with the sketch we have that was made by Mina. I again used the BG papers and MS border punch along with the leaf and branch punch for the roses. Some SU ribbon and punches for my wording which the wording is from Simon Says Stamp brand. I used my bind it all to make the notebook holder and distressed the edges with the distressed ink.

Color Challenge

Well that means it is time for another Whiff of Joy challenge for you!!

This week we have a color challenge for you. Yellow and Green and a color of your choice.

I have used one of the new Norma Fickle images from Whiff of Joy, Oh aren't these so adorable?

They are colored with my copic's and my papers are from DCWV. I used some brad's and spacer from my stash and a prima flower with a pearl center. I also used one of the MS large border punches. And I added some spacers to the middle of my card also.

Good Evening all, I hope every one's weekend has been great. I managed to get a few challenges done and the first 2 are some sneak peaks from the soon to be released images from Sugar Nellie from the Leanne Ellis collection. Aren't they adorable???

The first one is for the Sugar Bowl Challenge and I have used some of my papers I got from my birthday, thanks dear I love them. They are from MME. I added some Prima flowers and a pearl brad. My image was colored with the copic's.

This card is for Sketch Saturday and I used another one of the soon to be released images from Sugar Nellie. I have colored her in with my copic's and spica glitter pens. My papers are from Su and I so love the texture on them. I also used some punches for the wording from SU and the wording is from Verve. The ribbon was from my stash.


This card I made for Friday Sketchers. I used one of the stamps from Norma Fickle collection at Whiff of Joy. Added some prima flowers with a brad pearl, some SU ribbon along with the SU papers. I also added some flat pearls in a couple of the corners.
