Happy Sunday Everyone !!! I hope you all have had a great weekend so far. I know I didn’t do nothing yesterday except hit the couch lol The work week wore me slab out lol
But today I have made a card for a few challenges. First up I have used the Simply Adorable Verity for my image from Sugar Nellie . These are available over at Funky Kits as digi downloads and no waiting at all. These images are just so beautiful with all the shading etc in them. I have seen lots of blogs using these and they all love them so if you haven’t gotten yours yet, man click on over to Funky Kits and get yours now.
I have colored Verity with my copics and have used some papers from K&Co. I have used some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and also the branch punch from L-EM. The ribbon is from SU and the punches for the sentiment also. I have distressed all the edges of my papers with the Distress it all and then sponged some Walnut distressed ink on them. Brads were attached on the corner of the image after I had used the ticket punch on them from SU. I had a hard time getting a good photo this morning so please forgive me for that.

Well that is it for me this weekend. My grandson turned 16 yesterday and he went skiing and snowboarding till 1 am this morning so I have tons of laundry I need to finish up and chores to do. (since I couldn’t seem to move yesterday lol)

You've answered my question about how to deal with that sketch. Sounds as if you probably needed the rest yesterday. I love that bottom layer with those splashes of yellow & how you've highlighted that in the upper layers & with the flowers plus her hair. The beige of her trousers picks up ever so well on the petals in that bottom layer & the mat under the image panel too, I'm not so intimidated by that sketch now I've seen your handling of it.
