Think Spring!

Oh I am so ready for spring, Aren’t you???  Our day yesterday was pretty nice here, it got up to 66. Thought we were having a heat wave lol

After I got home from the hospital yesterday I managed to color a few images in and this morning I made a few cards to show you.

So my first card up is Molly, isn’t she just the cutest?? She is from the new collection of Home Grown stamps from Sugar Nellie and is available now over at Funky Kits. I made this card with the theme(Spring)  and sketch over at The Sugar Bowl. There is a beautiful sketch to follow and as always such wonderful prizes.

My papers are from BG and I have used some daisy lace I got at Joann’s. The sentiment I made with my Just-Rite stamps and used some SU punches for it. I am entering this card into the following challenges.

Oh My now look at this cutie !! This is Little Ballerina from Lily Of The Valley. I think these little girls are just adorable. I have used the sketch over at Stamptacular Challenge Blog.  Little Ballerina was colored with my copic’s and I used cut her out with some Spellbinder dies. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have the MS branch punch and Punch A Bunch leaf in the mix too. I added some smooch to the flowers to give them a glittery look. I also used some glamour dust on different places of the image like her tights and head piece. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and I used a spellbinder circle to cut it out. The papers are from K&CO and look at those gorgeous corners. Oh I so love these. I won these over on Bev Blog and oh they are so fab. You can get these at Wild Orchid Crafts and I believe I am going to have to order some more lo. I used some ribbon from my stash.

I am entering this card into the following challenges

Stamptacular Challenge Blog for there sketch.

Now you know I couldn’t go a weekend with out using one of my Bildmalarna stamps. Another cutie here. Looks like today I went all girly lol I have colored her with my copic’s. And the papers are from BG.  I used the sketch over at Mojo Monday and this yellow gingham  ribbon is one of the gorgeous ribbons I won over at The Ribbon Girl.  The trim through the middle of my card was from my stash. I used a template to make my folds on the panel on the left and added some flat pearls to it. I just had to use this ribbon with my papers so the template is a little hidden but you can get the drift of it. I used a spellbinder die to cut the image out also. I am entering this card into the following challenge.

  3. Three beautiful cards - I think the bottom one is my fave cos that bildmarna image is the absolute cutest!!! Hugs, Marie xx
P.S. I think the papers on the first one and the last one are Basic Grey?!?! Look like capella and origins to me?!? xx

  4. I love those colours in the Sugar Bowl card & the floers are so effective. her stripey jumper picks up the striped paper beautifully too. This definitely makes me think of spring. I can't get overhow warm those corners in the Little Ballerina card make the whole composition. I love your colouring of her dancing slippers.
Well, you saved the best for the last - that gingahm is tunning & those pearls with the folds a beauty. I just love the blue flowers you've given Mimosa - they just make the whole "pop" somehow for they catch the eye.
Delicious eye candy - thanks for a real treat.
    Much love & take care
    Paula (PEP)
