Trick or Treat!!!

HELLO!!!!!! How is every one's weekend been??? Mine has been busy!! I work so many hours through the week that most of my weekend is getting caught up on my chores!! I know but I did manage to get some play time in and do one of the challenges.

I saw this gorgeous Bo Bunny Halloween paper and just had to make this Halloween card with the sketch from Friday Sketchers. And to top it off it shows mostly my favorite color LOL But I do so love Halloween.

Tilda with pumpkin from Magnolia has been colored in with my copic's and I have used papers from Bo Bunny, My pumpkin and fence is MS and the wording and die for it and the spiral punch are all from SU. The purple paper has been embossed with the cuttlebug Spider web folder.

Ribbons and Bows #20

Ribbons and Bows is the theme this week at Just Magnolia Challenge Blog!!! I have used this to make up some more of the card holders I was to do. Sorry the picture just wouldn't turn out so good. Tilda is colored with my copic's and have added some purple zig zag ribbon from a dear friend of mine and also added some purple bows. The flowers are from my retro punch with a brad and spacer in the center. The leave die is from SU. Thanks for stopping bye Big Hugs

My Manga Girl

Hello!!! How are we doing so far this week??? Almost getting to the weekend and I am so ready!!!!!! Means I don't have to go to work lol

I came home from work today and saw the Sugar Bowl Challenge and just had to dig right in on this one. And I must say it is a sketch I will use over and over. Gorgeous Kathy!!

I have used one of my gorgeous Manga girls from Sugar Nellie and have colored her in with my copic's. And added some spica glitter pens in places. My papers are so my favorite right now just love these colors together they are from Bo Bunny Just loving them. I have used the MS border punch and branch and leaf punch on my card as well as my retro punches for the flowers and with the Please include is buttons in the center of my flowers and the left top.

Good Evening!!! I hope you all are doing well today! I had to get my sister in law's birthday card done after work today so thought I would post it here before I forgot ( I am good at that lol)

I gave the tri shutter card a shot here, Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I used BG papers and my images are Sarah Kay and they are colored in with my copic's. The wording is from SU and I used some Prima flowers on the card (yes you read that right I never made my flowers for this card shocking isn't it ? LOL) I also used my bosskut flourish.

Love Grows Happiness!!!

Hello!!! So glad you stopped bye to visit me today!!! I would like to show you my project I made for the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog! This week the theme is BLING!! We all love that stuff don't we?? Well I have used Melinda with strawberries she has been colored with my copic's as well as the strawberries both images and wording from Whiff of Joy. I have used the SU punches for my wording and also the paper and top note die. I added some strawberry bling to my little box that was from BG. I had so much fun making this little project which will be going to my lovely granddaughter Kirstie. She always loves grandma's little goodies especially if I put candy in them lol.

My Play time

Good Afternoon all!!! I trust everyone has had a wonderful weekend!!! Mine was the usual cleaning and getting some play time in. lol

Here I have made a card for Sketch Saturday I have used Willow from the new fall kit from Whiff of Joy. This kit is just so adorable. I have colored her with my copic's and added a few button leaves instead of flowers. The wording is also Whiff of Joy and I used my SU punches and border punch.

Here I made a bind it all post it note book, I used the challenge at Basic Grey which was a color scheme Brown, Pink and Yellow. I used the gorgeous Gorjuss girl from Sugar Nellie and she has been colored with my copic's. The flower was made with the retro punches and a paper rose I got from Simon Says Stamp. The branch and leaf is from MS. The metal charm and wording really not sure they were just in my stash.

Awhile back I made my granddaughter a door hanger for her room and you just can't make one so I just finally finished her little brother one for his room. Not good at doing boy things you would think I am having so many grandsons but just don't have any mojo for boys lol But here I used Oakley from Whiff of Joy and colored with my copic's and added some leaf buttons to it also. I used some large eyelets from SU for the hanger part with some twine.

Hello!!! Thanks so much for stopping bye my blog today!!! I have my project for this weeks Just Magnolia Challenge!! We have a wonderful sketch by the talented Rach. So I used this sketch to make another one of the card holders I needed to make. I used my bind it all and really not sure of my papers just from my stash and I have used this adorable Tilda with umbrella. She has been colored with my copic's. I have used the Sizzix leaf die and my retro flower punches, along with the MS branch punch. I have used the SU ticket punch for my images corner and the wording is one of the bubble words from Tim Holtz.

Good day everyone!!! Well it is Wednesday again and that means a new Whiff of Joy Challenge!!! This week we have a wonderful sketch for you by the very talented DT Member Rachel!!!. I know you all love sketch's so I sure hope you come and join us.

I have used the Shy Willow from Whiff of Joy!! She has been colored in with my copic's and I used the SU corner punch, along with the bosskut flourish and MS butterfly. I have added flat pearls to my flourish and butterfly. My ribbon is from SU also and my papers are porcelain from BG. I can't belive I made this card and never put a flower on it!!! That doesn't happen to often lol

Post it Note Holder

Hello everyone!!! I hope this finds you all doing well. I am scheduling this post, I didn't want to upload it until I knew that I had gotten this to Brian in time lol I know sometimes him and his wife check my blog out so just wanted to make sure this was a surprise to his wife. He asked me to make his wife something so this is what I came up with. His wife loves purple (and my favorite color too).

I have used one of the new images from Sugar Nellie one of the Manga girls!! Oh I just love coloring in these little beauties!! She has been colored in with my copic's and spica glitter pens and I have cut her out with my nestibilities dies.
I have used my MS border punch and added some ribbon in the center. I used my SU punches for the wording which is SU also. My papers are from DCWV. I have covered the top of the clothes pin with the paper also and used my retro punchs for my flowers and MS branch punch and the EK Leaf. I added some magnets to the back of the large tag which is from Debbie's Die Cuts.

It's Raining!!!!!!!

Happy Sunday everyone!!! I hope your weekend has been a good one!!! I have sure enjoyed mine so far except for having to do the house work lol Would of rather been playing the whole time but hey I got some major play time in this weekend and I so enjoyed it.

I finally had the nerve to join in the Copic Creations Challenge and of all things the challenge had to be was RED'S. Oh I really have a hard time trying to blend in those reds but finally managed to get a card done so here we go.

I have used the adorable Magnolia Tilda here with her umbrella, The copic's I have used here are R59, R27, R22, R20 and also BG000. I also added some white highlights with my white pen.

My papers are from the Paper Studio and SU. I used the SU photo corner punch and added some flat pearls adn my flower consists of the retro punches with the MS branch and EK Leaf with a brad and spacer in the center.

I also used the sketch that Camilla made for A Spoonful Of Sugar I just rotated the sketch to fit my image ,so I am going to enter my card there also.

A couple of Challenges!

Happy Saturday!!! It sure is a Happy one for me for I didn't have to work today YIPPEE!!! Love those Saturdays!!! So before I started all my housework I thought I would have some play time.
This first card is a Thank you Card I made for Crissy but didn't want to show it till I knew she had received it. I had won the very gorgeous Mildred stamp from HH from her blog candy and just had to ink her up and so I made her the Thank you card. She has been colored with my copic's. All the punches are from SU and really not sure of the papers.

Now for my first Challenge card this weekend. I just had to use this gorgeous sketch that Judy made over at The Sugar Bowl!!! Lovely Judy really enjoyed using it.

I have used one of the new Manga girls from Sugar Nellie, and Oh how I just love these new stamps they are so easy to color. I have used my MS border punch and some raffia ribbon that a very dear sweet friend of mine sent me. And the please include in the challenge is handmade flowers and you all know I love making my flowers so this part was really easy. I used my MS branch and leaf for my flowers along with the retro flowers and on the large one is a paper flower I was sent by another one of my dear friends over in the UK. Don't they just have the cutest stuff?? Now I know you all will love using this sketch from Judy so make sure you go over to The Sugar Bowl and join in all the fun.

Now for my second challenge today I have used a sketch from Sketch Saturday!!! This Magnolia image had not even been inked up yet (I know a shame ) so I made sure I got it used this weekend and I really didn't add all the papers I should have from the sketch for I didn't want to cover up my jungle paperlol. I have used my McGill leaf punch around my image and the wording is from HH. I also used my MS punch and the ribbon is just from my stash.

Just Magnolia Monthly Challenge!!!!

This month on Just Magnolia's Monthly Challenge Blog we are having you make something 3D. We had a wonderful tutorial by Debby of A Scrap Journey. I have used one of the older Magnolia's (still love them) and Tilda has been colored with my copic's and on her wings I added some glamour dust. I used little circle pop ups to make my 3D. I done the bow and bottom of her dress and shoes. My papers are from K&Co and I have used a wonderful sketch that I had kept from my dear friend Heather . She makes the most gorgeous sketch's. The photo corner is a punch from SU and I also used the piercing template from SU on it. My flowers are from the retro punch and have used one of the stamps from Innovation Stamp creation on them just love this crackle stamp. The branch is from a MS punch and the leaves are from a Quikcut die and the flourish is from a bosskut die. I added some bling to the flourish and the little button brads I got at the local scrapbook store.

Good day everyone!!! Hope all you bloggers are doing well.
This week at Just Magnolia we have a theme for you of FRIENDSHIP!!! SO I have took the Student Tilda and made a birthday card holder, I had a commission to do 6 of these so you have seen a few and probably will see more lol. I have used K&Co paper and my nestibilities I got from Simon Says Stamp. The wording is from Magnolia also and I added one of Tim Holtz bubble sayings and a prima flower with a pearl brad and spacer. Also on the nestibilitie I have a paper clip, the ribbon was from my stash.
As always I have colored Tilda with my copics.

Well I am back again with another wonderful challenge at the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog!!! This week the theme is a color scheme!! Pink and Brown! Love these 2 colors together.
I have used Willow from the baby series at Whiff of Joy. She has been colored with my copic's and I have used some spica glitter pens also. My papers are from SU and the perfect color combo to go with the challenge. My wording is from Simon Says Stamp and the punches for that are from SU along with the MS branch punch. I used the pinking nestibilites and my retro flower punches, along with a paper rose sprayed with gold radiant rain. The ribbon and flat pearls are from my stash. Well thought it was about time to have another blog candy for all my faithful followers!!!! I have a little mixture here for you. I have a silent setter, Magnolia Edwin, Martha Stewart floral lace punch, assortment of ribbon and flowers, double sided tags, K&Co die cuts a couple of smaller punches.

My candy will run till the 9th of August and I will announce the winner the 10th. All you need to do is post about my candy on your blog and I will announce the winner from my followers list the 10th.

My flower tutorial!!!!!!

Well here I am with post 2 today!! I have had so many emails and comments on how I make my flowers so I thought I would do a quick tutorial for you so anyone that would like to make them will know how I do it now.

These are the punches I use, The large and medium retro punches from Fiskars, Martha Stewart branch and leaf punch and my crackle stamp from Innovation Stamp Creations.

I punch 2 each of each size retro flower out and stamp them with my crackle stamp

Next I distress them with ink around the edges the color depends on the color of flower I am using. I also fold each leaf in the middle to make it stand out.

Then I stack the 4 flowers together layering them to show each leaf.



Then I add the brad and spacer and the branch and leaf to the flower and use them on my project. Here I have made a door hanging for my granddaughter with one of the Gorjuss Girls from Sugar Nellie. I have used a piece from a floor puzzle and sanded it and glued my pp to it cut the shape out and then decorated it, My gorjuss girl has been colored with my copic's my wording is from a sizzix alphabet set, the butterfly is from MS and the ribbon is from my stash.

Not really for sure about the paper it was just in my stash I had. I have used my crop a dile to punch holes in the puzzle and added large eyelets and ran my ribbon through to use as a hanger.
Well that is going to be it for me today, still have some chores to do around the house before I have to get ready to go back to work tomorrow. So hope you have enjoyed my flowers for you that have asked how I do it. If you have any questions please EMAIL ME, and I will try to help.

New Rubba arrived!!!!

Good Morning everyone!!! I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend!! I managed to get a little play time in last night. So thought I would show you all what I managed to do lol
I decided to join a couple of challenges this week and I had some gorgeous rubber show up on my door step yesterday morning so just had to get them inked up lol
The adorable Manga Images from Sugar Nellie arrived oh they are so adorable and so much fun to color in.

Here I have used one of the Manga girls to make this card for Sketch Saturday a lovely sketch I might add I used papers from SU , my image has been colored in with my copic's and the flowers are made from my retro punch and added the MS branch.

This card is for the Basic Grey Challenge again there is a wonderful sketch for this challenge, you all know how I love sketch challenges!!! I used the other Manga girl from Sugar Nellie and she was colored with my copic's also, the papers are from the line Lemonade. I used some prima flowers and the MS leaf and branch. The ribbon is from my stash.

I have some more projects in the works with my new rubba so hope to post them soon.
